I can't put my usual name in fully!!!!

I was just about to change my name back to "Sherbert Music-Guard", but it didn't let me type any more than "Sherbert Music-G",
And it let me put much longer names before!

So what's happening?

Perhaps things have changed so you can only have shorter names now?

Before there apparently were no cap on how long the names could be and because of super long names can affect the UI and UX in a way that they are not supposed to a cap was introduced
