Much earlier than this actually. If I see something that I think would make a good gift for Christmas, I pick it up right away. No matter what time of year. Waiting for the holiday season makes no sense to me.

I normally don't like shopping for gifts, I like to make them.  Whether it be art or food, I might buy someone a gift card to get what they want but I haven't done that in a while.  Let's just say I haven't been invited to any family gatherings for the past few years and the ones I have been invited to I can never get to.  I also highly doubt that people are going to get me presents, I NEVER get presents, sure, it was easy to get gifts for me when I was a child but beyond that?  Not much, I'm "difficult to get presents for", apparently(even though I've shared an amazon wishlist for YEARS)...
