Why are the Cake twins STILL babies?

There's a trope you should look up to explain why this happens in cartoons.

I don't see why is this even worth complaining about when famous cartoon Characters have been in a state of looking like their designed age state for decades.

For example, Mickey Mouse looks like he's in his youthful years despite turning 90 years old officially today.

This kind of thing is even lampshade in Family Guy.

Brian: Maybe you're getting too old for Rubert.

Stewie: Brian, I'm one

Brian: Still?

But MLP's different! Characters grow up, they change! Twilight with her wings, CMCs with CMs, etc. Since it's happening to these characters, same should apply to the other characters then!
