Conversion: Will not work perfectly. Many things have been written for Flash specifically, and some doesn't even work if Flash was viewed wrongly in a web browser.
Emulation: Slow, needs to be very accurate to the point where it is basically Flash to begin with. Emulation works better to emulate non-software (such as a game console). Better to just use an older hacked Flash player.
Collection: What? What is new about having a site full of Flash games?

Overtaken = Bought by Adobe.   That's what happened with that popular program from the 1990s, called Macromedia Flash
