Here's some games that give me a ton of nostalgia playing them:

- Donkey Kong Country Returns

- Mario Kart Wii

- Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

- Croc 1: Legend of the Gobbos

- Croc 2

- Midtown Madness

(Of course, they're all old games but I love them!)

I don't get much nostalgia from video games, but I suppose the original Dungeon Keeper is a contender, along with old point and click games.

The games which make me feel the most nostalgic are Super Mario World, Paper Mario 64, Pokemon RBY/GSC and Digimon World 1/3. These are all games I grew up with and thoroughly enjoyed.

edit: OH! And Toy Story for the SNES. Somehow I managed to complete it as a kid. Considering its difficulty and rough controls, I have no idea how. Probably lots of continues and lots of persistence.

Nostalgia for me would be playing Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Fire Emblem, and Super Mario Bros. 3. I've played tons of games over the years yet these four stand out as the ones I've played countless times due to their appeal factor to me.

Hmm... I played a lot of video games back in the day, but Halo CE or NFS Underground would be the games that bring back lots of memories. And pain. It's also best when you play those games on the OG Xbox; it's different on newer consoles.

  • Super Mario World
  • Yoshi's Island
  • Cybernator
  • All of the classic Sonic games
  • Spyro the Dragon
  • Crash Bandicoot: Warped
  • All of the PS1 and PS2 era 007 games

I'm probably missing a couple on that list.

Considering that i replayed all my favorite games so much, to the point that i dont enjoy some of them anymore, i dont feel all that much nostalgic for them.

Maybe Super Mario 64 could be counted because i never replayed that game all that much, since i played mostly with Playstation Consoles.

The games which I have the most nostalgia for would be Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green. I often played these while I was young, but the enjoyment still sticks.

Putt Putt Wins the Race is a cute game I remember playing over and over again when I was little. So I guess that would be in the category of gaming nostalgia.

Final Fantasies, Pokémon (sticking to remades, though!), Microsoft Freelancer (also because there aren't that many good space-sims). Oh, and of course, Warcraft 3!

Actually considering to play Zelda 64  for the first time right now.

Crash 2 & 3(mostly 3 tbh)

Donkey Kong 64

Banjo Tooie (And the original kinda but not Nuts and Bolts)

Pokémon Snap,Stadium 1 & 2, and the first 2 gens(I didn’t start playing the later gens until I was around 20 or so, so it’s not a big nostalgic rush for me for them)

Sonic Adventure 2:Battle(Sonic Adventure 1 too but Battle is a lot more nostalgic)

Super Mario 64 & Sunshine

Luigi’s Mansion

Animal Crossing(Wild World too)

Sonic Heroes

Anything I played as a kid mainly. Stuff like Combat and Crystal Castles on the 2600 and Mario 3 on the NES are timeless for me.

Odd games scattered here and there will give me nostalgia. I get nostalgia super easy, actually. Probably the game that has given me the most hyper nostalgia has been Twilight Princess. I know, it's not even a game I really played as a child, I played it when I was 17, about to turn 18. I played NES and SNES games in my childhood, but they don't really give me nostalgia. But Twilight Princess, it came out in my senior year of my high school. Right after I got my bassoon (my dream instrument to play at that time) and I was really super happy. I didn't play many games in that late 2006 to late 2007 range (I think the only other one was getting The Sims 2 Seasons EP, which was amazing, but can't give me as much nostalgia), so Twilight Princess just kind of represents my life right before things got dark. When I played TP for the first time after that time (which was a few years later, I had lost the game somewhere for a few years, it hit me like a brick and I couldn't even handle it emotionally)

But as I said, I can get nostalgia relatively easily. More recently, I have nostalgia for Pokemon X and even Breath of the Wild. lol Probably the whole Ace Attorney series that I played in early 2016, too.

Back in my day, all we had was Pong and we were damn grateful for it!
