I didn’t see this question asked yet so here I am..

SO.., What is your favorite Christmas movie?

I really like Elf but I think the old csrtoon movies (like Santa clause is coming to town, A year without a santa clause, Frosty the Snowman etc are like my favorite.

Also any Christmas movie you don’t like?

I've always been partial towards A Charlie Brown Christmas and The Nightmare Before Christmas myself, although the latter is usually considered a Halloween movie, I think.

It can be both. Isn't that the point? :D

Multiple iterations of A Christmas Carol (Sim, Stewart, Carrey, Muppet, Magoo)

Die Hard

Gremlins

Home Alone

It's a Wonderful Life

Miracle on 34th Street (the original, in Black and White ONLY)

I have a vague memory of Santa Claus: The Movie with Dudley Moore, glowing candy cane reindeer candy, and a Big Mac.

Specials Include

Garfield

Muppet Family Christmas

Claymation Christmas

Charlie Brown Christmas

I'm also going to check out The Star from last year sometime soon.

Have you seen the Looney Toons version of A Christmas Carol? Bahumduck, I believe it was called. Also a good one.

Unrelated to the above I also gotta give a huge shout out to Tim Allen's The Santa Claus movies for being one of the few non-animated movies to catch my interest. And I'm not just talking about Christmas movies.

That I have not seen. OH and I forgot to shout out Mickey's Christmas Carol: Alan Young's first go at Scrooge McDuck!

What makes Die hard a Christmas movie? i saw an article or heard someone trying to prove that die hard wasn’t an actual Christmas movie...

Eh, it's a tongue in cheek reference. It takes place on Christmas Eve, at a company Christmas party, and features some songs in the soundtrack.

If we're talking about movies related to Christmas, definitely Die Hard. Although I don't watch it every holiday season, preferring to watch Doctor Who specials instead.

Spoiler

I also like Frozen and plan to rewatch it this December. Please, don't hit me.

Have you seen them all or just the first?

I've seen them all. Though I only saw the third one once. Maybe I should try to get them again. We lost the DVDs for them years ago.

I like 'Unaccompanied Minors.' I watch it every year.

I also watch 'Smilla's Sense of Snow' but that's not a Christmas movie. I just watch it because it's snowy and cold, which gets me in the holiday mood. (Even though it's a really grim movie).
