Backing up Tumblr blogs

So, with this whole tumblr Apocalypse looming, I've decided to finally get around to writing a script that can backup with 100% fidelity whatever tumblrs I may point it to. This isn't about the nsfw content, but rather about how I suddenly realized that a significant chunk of the fandom can disappear at any point in time, and I want to prevent that. Who knows when a good blog will go silent forever. Writing the script is pretty trivial (I am already able to download blogs to my local drive and make the path conversions using wget) but finding a good list of the blogs on the other hand...

This is where I need the help of anyone reading this. Got a favorite tumblr that you want an offline copy of? Let me know and I'll zip it up and send it to you after I've added it to my hoard. Have a bookmark bar filled with bookmarked blogs? Send it to me. Got a big text file with links saved in it, please let me have it. Specifically, I want the ALL of the best blogs, but I want to do a full archive, so I need links. Big links. Small links. Any links. The sooner the better.

Well, while I wait for a response, I suppose I could go ahead and post a list of the links that I have in case anyone else wants to do the same thing.

In the list below, the general trend is that (IMO) good blogs are closer to the top, and the ones that are at the bottom are just there because I found the link somewhere and haven't even checked out the blog yet.

The worst part about it is that this is a sign of what's yet to come. This won't be the only kind of thing to happen, cause in the coming years, other sites may follow suit. It wouldn't just take out portions of the fandom, but all fandoms. Fandom work has a right to exist, because it is a beacon of creativity and offers entertainment and escapism that no original media (whether it be novels, films, TV shows, anime, comic books, video games, etc) can provide. Plus that fan works aren't made by professional writers, filmmakers, or developers, but ordinary people who either go to school or work 9 to 5 jobs.

There's already a thread on Derpibooru about Tumblr preservation. There are various lists of Tumblr URLs there. For example, here's my list of tumblrs that were accessible and had at least one post yesterday morning.

This also needs to be said. No matter which site you operate on, you should never put all your eggs in one basket. That's why you need to have backup sites, because stuff like this is bound to happen. Now all the Tumblr exclusive users are learning this the hard way.
