Scoring Each Season of Friendship is Magic (Season 1)

Season 1 is one of the best in the series, and is definitely underrated.

This season was simple and charming. It had had great character-building, world-building, and writing. There's no doubt it did an excellent job at setting up the series. I am always finding myself re-watching many the amazing episodes from this season. In fact, comparing it to the newer seasons, season 1 has an overall superior quality. The episodes are pretty consistently great, and remind me of why I love this show in the first place.

I love season 1 and think it did an amazing job as the first season.

Season one is a wonderful start into MLP:FiM. I don't think it kept the same quality constant for all it's episodes but wow there some really awesome episodes here. With Bridle Gossip this season starts really rolling for a many episodes. The ending is a bit unconventional because it's only one episode long but it works perfectly.

This season laid with other two following it the foundation for all MLP:FiM which later season build on it. I definitely love this season :>
