Starlight nods "Well both really, it was pretty frightening" she says "and all four of us were affected, luckily though, it all got sorted out" she says and then looks to him "Hopefully it does, he seemed the type who would use the system to his advantage when he is older." she says and then smiles to Pinball Wizard and Button Prompt before showing Jaded around.

Sunset smiles "I'm gonna go to the Time Guard machine" she says with a smile and makes her way towards it.

Dynamo nod in understanding, before tilting his head in confusion. "Fair enough and indeed. It was frightening, but it makes me glad to know to never get on their bad side. I am a bit lost. I can imagine Cheat Code had affected you all, but I was affected too. I just said that a moment ago, but I guess I wasn't being specific, or something along those lines." He chuckled sheepishly, before nodding at her statement. "That's true and I don't think we'd have to wait. I think Principal Celestia and Luna had announced all the students who passed and/or graduated. I don't recall hearing his name on the list that passed. So, I guess karma really did catch up to him." 

As they heard the door being opened, Pinball Wizard, a brown earth pony and Button Prompt, a purple Pegasus, had smiled as they saw Dynamo and some friends had arrived. "Well, look who's here. It's good to see you Dynamo. So, what brings you here on your day off?" He asks with a smile. "He showed up with some lovely ladies. I can imagine that one of them is his girlfriend." Button winked, which caused Dynamo to blush. "No, it's not like that. We all graduated from the academy today. So, we're here to celebrate with playing video games." He says with a chuckle, before seeing Starlight, Jade and Sunset walking off to different parts of the arcade. "What are you going to do, Twilight? I was thinking of going with Starlight to help out in showing Jaded the arcade."

Starlight nods as she hears Dynamo "Oh right, I do remember you saying that, but I was trying to not remember your reaction when you had gotten that fail mark" she says with a shudder "I felt so bad for you, not only had you worked so hard to get what you thought would be good marks, you almost got expelled because of his stunt" she says, "And now I remember, if it wasn't for Shining Armor stepping in and telling Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna that others had the same thing happen to them..." she closes her eyes and shakes her head "And yeah, that sounds like a plan"  she says as she then hears what Button says and blushes a little "Oh no mr Button, The girls are good friends of mine, we all decided to come here to celebrate our graduation, and we decided to bring Jaded along, you may know her parents.."

Dynamo frowned as he soon recalled upon that memory. He nods as he placed a comforting hand upon Starlight's shoulder. "It's okay and it's not your fault Star. I remember being called into Celestia's office and was given the ultimatum. I wasn't alone as you and the others were called in for that very same reason." He says, remembering how surprised he was to see Starlight, Twilight, Sunset and others were in the same room as he was. "I guess when Shining Armor had heard what happened to Twilight, he wanted to help solve this case. Given that he is her older brother and all. Even after that, Princcipal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna kept a very close eye on Cheat Code." He shook his head, before smiling with a nod. "Awesome! It'll be a lot of fun if the two of us can explain everything to Jaded. Given that the arcade is a really giant place."

Button laughed as he saw Starlight blush at his comment. "I'm just kidding, Starlight. I'm glad that you are all celebrating graduation. Also, no need for you all to be so formal. You can all call me Button. I'm only a year or two older than all of you." He grinned as he shooed them all away to enjoy the variety of games. Dynamo chuckled and nods as he walked off with Starlight and Jaded. "Same old Button. I don't think that guy will ever change." He says, before turning his attention over to light grey mare. "So, is there anything you want to play first, Jaded? Star and I are open to suggestions. The same can be said for you Star. I'm up to playing any arcade game."

Jaded smiled a little more "O-oh uhm..I want to go play Skeetball and the Hoops" she says, making her way towards the machines, when the sounds of the Prance Prance Revolution machine could be heard booting up. Jaded stops and looks to see a feline creature, probably from Kugletown, as she had heard of the different species there. She raises an eyebrow, and Starlight smiles as she goes to see what Jaded was looking at "Oh hey cool, Kenzie's in. D-Pad, get over here big guy!" she calls out, just as Kenzie had finished hooking herself into the machine and smiles, waving to Starlight and Dynamo.

At the mention of the games that Jaded want to do, Dynamo smiled and nodded at the suggestion. "Okay. That sounds like a great idea. I'm not the best at Hoops, but skeeball is a lot of fun. Both of the games were fixed up recently and it's like they are brand new. So, let's see if we can give those games a go." He says, following Jaded over to the game machines. He suddenly stopped moving as Jaded stopped in her tracks. He wanted to ask if she was okay, until he heard the Prance Prance Revolution machine starting up. As he saw a feline creature playing the dance game, he squinted his eyes as they looked familiar. As Starlight went over to greet the feline creature, Dynamo soon smiled as the name Kenzie was brought up. "Are you serious? I didn't know she'd be working here today!" He grinned as he walked over, while waving to the female feline.

Kenzie looked over to them "Oh heya D-Pad, Starlight" she says "Think you could guys could help hook me up to the machine, I got a new song I wanna try out, and hadn't had a chance to hook in yet" she says, her tail swaying and with a purr to her voice. 

Starlight smiles "Of course, what song is it?" she asks curiously, "Oh it's Prototype VIP by Wooden Toaster, it's really awesome" Kenzie says, still somewhat purring "Oh are these are your friends?" she asks.

Starlight smiles "Yep, you already know Jaded, she comes here to hide mostly, but you would have seen her with me at times" she says "and this is of course Princess Twilight Sparkle, and Sunset Shimmer" she says, introducing the other two who smile and wave, but it didn't take long for Twilight to get her scientific interests peaked and start asking questions.

"Interesting, you look like a lot like a normal person, but..you've got these wires hooked up to you, how do they work?" she asks, and Kenzie just smiles "Ooh, I may look normal, but I'm actually an android" she smiles, and makes her cover fade so Twilight could see her android exterior "You're a..Kabuki android? Fascinating.." she says, walking around her and inspecting her "where are you from?" she asks.

"Twilight!" Starlight exclaims and Kenzie just giggles "Oh it's okay Starlight, as for where I am from, I was designed and built in Kugletown" she smiles and purrs "I was designed and built by a widowed scientist to help raise his daughter, but as time went on, the daughter grew up and her father passed due to old age. So I found a job here" she says, "I was made of an amalgamation of the daughter's favorite cats. Part Caracal, part Canadian Lynx and part Ragdoll"

"Fascinating, simply fascinating, I simply must study you and your workings at one point..that is if it is okay with you" Twilight beams, and Kenzie smiles "I'd be happy to help"

As Dynamo made his way over, he nods as he and Starlight helped to hook everything up on the dance machine. "No problem and it's good to see you, Kenzie. I remember hearing from Pinball that you were on vacation. I think it was a week or two. Has time really gone by that quickly?" He asks as he heard the female feline talk about a new song. "You have a new song you want to try? What song is it?" He asks as she answers his question. "I've never heard of that song or group, but it sounds interesting. I know that some bands are trying to gain new fans in the music industry. Perhaps their songs will make their way over to Canterlot." 

Dynamo nods somewhat as Kenzie asked about their friends. "You can say that. Jaded, Twilight and Sunset are Starlight's friends. I've passed by the others in school, but this is the first time I've met them." He chuckled slightly as Twilight walked over and began asking questions. He shook his head as he didn't blame Starlight, who was trying to stop Twilight from asking too many questions. "This reminds me of when you and I first met Kenzie. The first few weeks we got to know about her. After a month or two, we found out that she was an android. I freaked out because I've never met anyone that was an android before. After the initial shock, I thought she was pretty cool." He says, frowning as he remembered Kenzie bringing up her past before. "It's a shame that we all graduated. I could imagine this would be like a summer homework project for you, Twilight. This must be the discovery of the century for you." He says with a chuckle.

Twilight beams "You'd really let me give me the chance to look you over and see how you work? Thank you!" she exclaims before she looks to Dynamo "This would be extra credits for me, but you're right, it is a very important discovery for me" she says, making the others, even Jaded chuckle a little.

Kenzie smiles "It's a cool song, I recon you might actually like it" she says, as she is finished being hooked up and syncing to the machine "And here we go" she says, pressing play and then begins to dance to it, which was very good and impressed Jaded quite a fair bit.

Dynamo smiled at Twilight's statement, before chuckling along with Jaded and the others. "I can imagine. Even though you are a princess, I remember that you still look up to Principal Celestia. I remember hearing that you were one of her protege's, after all." He says as Kenzie was finished syncing to the dance machine. "You do have an interesting taste in music, Kenzie. I believe it was metal, techno and a few other styles. I guess we'll see how the song is." He says as the female feline hit the play button, while the song began to play. As the song began to play, Dynamo had to admit that the song had a really good beat and rhythm to it. He began to tap his foot to the beat of the song. He was also impressed that Kenzie seemed to flow through both the song, while stepping on the dance panels. As he heard the song finish, Dynamo clapped his hands and cheered for Kenzie. "That was awesome and well done, Kenzie. You were also right. I liked the song and it was pretty cool." He says, smiling as he made his way up to the dance panels. "I know I want to play other games, but I want to try a dance/song now." He says, turning his attention over to Jaded. "Can I try out a song from the Prance Prance Revolution game? If that's okay, that is." He says as he knew that she wanted to play both the skeeball and hoops games. He knew he could always play the dance game at another time.

Kenzie smiles as she finishes her song and disconnects from the machine "Oh for sure Dynamo, going to see if you can beat your won score?" she asks, stepping off of the machine and looking over at Jaded who was having some trouble with the skeetball machines. "Guess the Skeetball machines are acting up again, I'll go help Jaded" she says to the others as she goes over to help them.

Starlight just nods and watches Dynamo get ready, but then her intuition acts up and she starts to act a little paranoid.

Dynamo smiles as Kenzlie stepped off of the machine, while allowing the gaming unicorn to take a chance. "Not really, to be honest. I wasn't really going to try and beat my high score. I was hoping more along the lines of finding another good song to play." He says, scrolling through the song list to select. After a moment of searching, he grinned as he found the song he was looking for. "Alright! This game does have the song!" He says, before turning to Kenzie as he heard her statement. "That's a bit odd that the skee-ball machine is acting up." He says, nodding as Kenzie went to help Jaded. "I hope you all like the song. The song is Music by AAA." He says, hitting the play button on the machine as the song began to play. As the song started up, Button grinned as he heard the song. "Oh, I love this song! I'm sorry boss, but this song is calling out to me!" He called out, jumping over the counter and rushing over to the dance machine.

Dynamo chuckled as he noticed Button had raced over to him as the two began to dance to the song. Dynamo had missed a few of the buttons, but it didn't matter to him. He was having fun playing with his friends and enjoying the song. As the song came to an end, Dynamo cheered as he gave Button a fist bump. "Woo! That was the best! I remember hearing that song before, but I didn't think they had the song." Button chuckled as he returned the fist bump. "You know when you hear a song, then you just can't help in dancing to the beat. That song was on the list, but it had to be unlocked on a set difficulty." He says, before they could hear a random individual clapping their hands at the performance. "Bravo, gentlemen. That was simply boring, if you ask me. Where did you learn to dance like that?" The pony asks, while Button narrowed his eyes. "When we said that you were banned, then we meant that you were never meant to show up at this arcade, Cheat Code!" He exclaimed, while the now known unicorn shrugged his shoulders.

Starlight looked to see who had spoken, and her face falls "What is he doing here?" she asks, noticing that Kenzie was on her way. The feline creature, gently placed a handpaw on her shoulder, "don't worry Starlight, I've got this.. It's my job here anyway" she says as she approaches Cheat Code, she stands there, crossing her arms, "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave, else I'll be escorting you out, as you are trespassing"

Dynamo narrowed his eyes as he saw the bully was standing a few feet away from them. Cheat Code could only shake his head as Kenzie asked for him to leave. "I'm sorry, Miss, but I'm afraid that I can't do that. Plus, I'm not trespassing. I'm only here to play games and ruin the fun of other gamer's. By the way, how's the skee-ball machine? I think it's seen better days." Dynamo and Button had looked back to see that the machine wasn't working like before. "So, you messed with the game machines again? You know that Pinball Wizard isn't going to like hearing that. We worked many hours to get all these video games up and running. You think you can do whatever you want, Cheat? Sorry, but I don't think so." Cheat Code grinned with a slight nod. "That's right. I tried to ruin the hoops machine, but you all had to show up. So, I didn't have time to ruin any other games, or arcade machines." Dynamo stepped off the dance machine, while he never took his gaze off of Cheat Code. "You really don't know when to learn, do you? When are you going to stop in trying to make others feel miserable?" Cheat shrugged his shoulders, before shaking his head. "I thought I would stop when I got you and the others expelled for all of those test papers. However, now I have to go through summer school and even they said I might not pass. So, it's thanks to you and the others that I want some payback! I won't allow anyone to make a mockery of Cheat Code!"

Kenzie looks over to the group of ponies and then to the one who was named Cheat Code "You were formally banned from the arcade, there is a police file against you, therefore you are trespassing" she then thinks for a moment "Alright, how about this..you have a Guitar Hero band battle, if you win, we lift the ban but with restrictions, if the others win, you leave and never come back" she says "and don't even think about cheating, as I will be able to tell"

Cheat Code could only roll his eyes at Kenzie and grinned. "Do you think I care? I have no intention of being caught or being stopped. So what if I was banned from the arcade? You and the ones that work here should get a good security system. Otherwise, others will come back and show that an arcade will never succeed in Canterlot." As he listened to the wager, he smirked with a nod. "That sounds interesting to me. Very well. I'll play this game against you. However, I pick my band and I know who I will be facing." He says, looking over to Dynamo. "I'll be taking Dynamo Pad, Starlight Glimmer, Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer. They can play whatever instrument they want, but Dynamo must be the one to sing." He narrows his eyes as he was told not to cheat. "You've got me trapped in a box here. So, I should at least have some compensation in this."

Starlight looked on in disgust as she listened to Cheat Code ramble on, before she heard what Kenzie had suggested. She knew she would be dragged into it "Well at least two of us are in a band in real life" she says softly, as she knew that both Twilight and Sunset were in the band known as "The Rainbooms" but, when she heard that Dynamo had to be the one to sing, her small smile turns into a frown and she whispers to Dynamo "Try to remember what our music teacher told us about singing from the diaphragm and not the throat" she sayys and then nods, she would be on drums as it would seem Twilight would be bass and Sunset guitar.

As Cheat Code was giving out the conditions of the battle of the bands, Dynamo gulped nervously as he had a bad feeling about this. He knew there was a catch to all of this and something didn't add up. At the mention of being told he was to sing, he was about to argue. However, Button had taken the bait. "We're not afraid of you, Cheat Code! You are so on! Just make sure to pack your bags when you lose!" Cheat was oddly surprised by the outburst, but he soon laughed as he knew he had won. "A wise decision for once, Button. I'll give you a few moments to prepare. Make sure you bring your best for when you lose." He smirked smugly, before laughing heartily and walking away.

Dynamo's shoulders had fallen as he taken a seat on the dance machine. "Oh, this is so not good." Button had looked down to Dynamo, while tilting his head in confusion. "What's the big deal, D-Pad? All you have to do is work together with the others and you're good to go." Dynamo had heard Starlight's advice, but he could only raise an eyebrow at Button. "You're kidding right?" He asks, giving his friend a deadpanned expression. "I like to sing, but only when I'm with my friends. I don't like singing in front of a giant crowd. Whenever I'm in a tournament, I have to drown out the noise, or wear headphones to not hear the crowd. I have a big fear of public speaking! I was always a nervous wreck when having to do a presentation for school!" He exclaimed, his leg beginning to shake as the nervousness had settled in. He felt a bead of sweat trail down his forehead as his breathing increased tenfold. Button's ears fell as he had realized his mistake. "Whoops. I think I made a bad choice and I just made it worse." Dynamo wanted to reply, but he knew it would be a waste of energy. He knew it wasn't Button's fault, but it was all in the heat of the moment. He could feel his stomach about to do flips as he felt he was about to be sick. He tried to think of a plan, but he couldn't think as he knew he was stuck.

Jaded looked over at the set "Has anyone chosen the drums?" she asks, looking to the others, seeing that they all had picked up their own instruments. She shakes her head and sits down on the stool. She smiles a little as Dynamo was a bit shaky, she then smiles at him "Hey Dynamo, don't worry about it, we're all gonna work together, just close your eyes, and know that we all have faith in you" she says.

Kenzie smiles as she scans the machines to check that Cheat Code hadn't tampered with it. She smiles and nods to Button to start it.

Dynamo looked up from his seat towards Jaded, who had given the gaming unicorn some words of encouragement. He thought for a moment, while letting what Jaded had said to sink into his mind and heart. He soon looked up to his friend and smiled softly at her. "Thanks Jaded. I really needed to hear that. You're right about us all working together and that we'll do great." He says, shaking his head at her earlier question. "I don't think anyone had taken the drums. So, you can use that instrument for the band battle, if that's okay." He says, noticing that Sunset had taken the guitar, while Twilight had taken the bass guitar. Dynamo had slowly stood up as he began to make his way over towards the mic stand to take the microphone.

Button had looked over to Kenzie, who had smiled and nodded to signal for him to begin. "Okay! Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to our battle of the bands competition. It's time for us to settle a dispute, so here are the rules. Only one song and highest score wins. If both teams are set, then we can begin this. Over on my right, we have the Canterlot high school team!" He says, hearing some of the gamer's in the arcade were cheering for them. "Are you ready to get this battle of the bands started Team Canterlot?" He asks, while waiting to see how they felt.

The girls all look at each other, then at Dynamo "Don't worry D-Pad" Starlight says "We've got this" she smiles, holding her bass guitar at the ready, as Sunset looks to Jaded who just smiles "Lets show this prick who's right and who will win" she says with a almost wicked grin.

Kenzie looks over to Button and gives the thumbs up, she's made it so that Cheat Code couldn't cheat, what so ever.

Dynamo looked back at Starlight, Twilight and Sunset, who had each taken their instruments. Starlight had the bass guitar, while Dynamo smiles as he remembered Starlight mentioning she had a guitar years ago. Sunset had the lead guitar, while Twilight had taken the drums. He knew that she was more suitable for singing, but it wasn't the case due to Cheat Code. He soon smiled softly as Starlight had reassured him. "You're right. We got this. Together." He chuckled as his facial expression was one of worry, yet confidence. "You've got it, Sunset. Let's show this guy what happens when you try to mess with us. He'll be sorry he challenged this team."

As he saw Kenzie give the thumbs up, Button nods as he begrudgingly looked over to Cheat Code's team. "Is your team ready to go yet, Cheat Code?" He asks, the gray stallion had held up a hand to silence the crowd. "Attention everyone! Today, you will all experience why these bunch of failures do not belong here at this arcade. They thing they are all goody little two shoes, but we'll see that they are just not fit to handle the competition!" He exclaims, getting a somewhat round of applause from the crowd. "Now, I'm ready. So, let's get this embarrassing battle of the bands over with." Button sighed and hit the random selection. He waited until the selector had stopped and smiled at the song choice. "Okay! One song and one song only. The song will be Don't Stop Me Now by Queen. You know your instruments and you know what's at stake. So, if both teams are ready, then let's get this party started!" He says, hitting the play button for both teams to begin.

Dynamo took a deep breath as he began to sing slowly to the beat of the song. He knew the crowd was behind and around him, but so were Starlight and the others. As the song began to pick up tempo, the gaming unicorn had begun to become more confident in his singing. He had made a minor mistake here and there, but it wasn't noticeable as the scores were pretty even. He soon began to tap his foot and remembered the lessons that their music teacher taught him and the others. He even grinned as he was getting into the beat of the song. As the drum solo had begun, he turned around smiled at Starlight, Twilight and Sunset. Dancing and clapping his hands as he was enjoying the beat of the song. He soon walked over to Jaded and walked around her, while clapping his hands in time of the beat. He smiled widely as he saw his friend was starting to have fun in listening to the song.

As the game had begun, Starlight, Twilight and Sunset were all doing their best, encouraging each other as well as Dynamo. Jaded couldn't help but smile a little and then noticed that the drums were still left unattended. She looks to Kenzie who nods and smiles, giving her the thumbs up to go ahead. Jaded smiles a little and gets on the drums, picking up the drumsticks and pressing the start button to join in. She was a little shaky at first, but as she got into the rhythm of the game and how fun it was, she started to get better and better.

As the song began to pick back up, Dynamo smiled as he saw the drums were being added to their team. He looked back to see that Jaded had went over to the drum controller and began to play the drums. Cheat Code couldn't believe that the other team was was actually doing better than his team. He wanted to cheat or play unfair, but he knew Kenzie was watching him. He stood there trying to not make a single mistake in his singing, while trying to make sure his team would keep up. He yelled at times to his teammates, which only caused them to mess up more and more. 

As the song had drawn to a close, Button had to look at the scores to see who had become victories. After a bit of deliberating with Kenzie, he turned around to face both teams and the crowed. "After looking at the scores of both teams. I can conclude that the winner of this team are Dynamo, Starlight, Jaded, Twilight and Sunset!" Upon hearing that they won, Dynamo cheered and jumped into the air as he felt happy they had won. Cheat Code was furious upon hearing that his team had been defeated. "Are you kidding me!? They had to have cheated! I mean, look at them. That other brat had joined in the song as the song was near the end. That shouldn't even count!" Button sighed and rolled his eyes at the excuses. "Seriously, Cheat Code? You have to look at the scores. It was 94% against 95%. Sure, Jaded played the drums at the last second, but that was enough to give the team a win. We said one song and one song only. Besides, your team had someone playing the drums. So, it should be fair for Jaded to join and play the song."

Jaded growls at him "I'm not a brat, thank you very much" she says, "Besides, it was pretty unfair for you to have a full band and the others didn't, to start with" she says.

Kenzie just shakes her head "You guys lost, come on Cheat Code, you and your lackeys are forever banned from the arcade, and if you ever return to the premises, the guard will be called and we will charge you with trespassing" she says, beginning to escort Cheat Code and his friends out of the arcade.

As they are escorted out, Cheat shoves Jaded pretty badly, making her fall over and cry "Serves you right, freak" he spits before Kenzie frowns and forcefully throws him and his goons out of the arcade "DON'T EVER COME BACK!" she shouts, before calming down and going over to Jaded "Oh, oh no, are you okay sweetie?" she asks before looking up at Button and Pinball "Guys, I think she should get a few free games and a free soda and snack, that was totally uncalled for"
