Which season of the show is the most comedic

Everyone always seems to debate which season of the show is the best/worst, but I had a more interesting subject for debate: Which season is the funniest? 

As in, which season put the biggest emphasis on the humor?

Season 1 probably. Being the very first season, it felt very relaxed and hell, was one of only two seasons not to have a two parter finale (though season 3 may have had one had it not been chopped in half)

Season 1. I can pick out a stand out joke in every episode of that season (except Boast Busters, Stare Master, and Owl's Well) which I can't do for any other season. Also Pinkie, the most comedic character, was at her best in season 1 so that helps.

I'd argue S6, though whether the comedy actually landed is up to personal interpretation, as I felt the comedy was really detrimental to the season as to me the season heavily relied on gimmicks and tropes. While it has 2 of the funniest episodes of the show(SRR and StFF), some of the worst moments of the show also came from relying too much on comedy(the god awful impressions in ND, the rashamon episode with PPOV, lolzombiez!!1! in 28PL, to name a few)
