Hypothetically, say I joined a roleplay, could the DM force me to kill my character off or is that not at their discretion? Thanks for any replies.

Of course not. The person coordinating the role play can not necessarily force you to do anything. A death of a character may be discussed as a possibility but it is ultimately decided by the owner of that character. It’s all about communication.

Alright, thank you. Just didn't want an OCs I use in (hypothetical) RPs dying without my input, good to know that.
