Welcome to the Summer Sun Celebration Trivia event.

It's been a while since the forums have had a trivia, but now the time has come for a new one to make itself known. As you know, summer has now begun in the northern hemisphere--the south just started winter--and that means a certain princess gets to shine. Princess Celestia might not have had as many appearances as her fellow princesses but she continues to be a shining beacon of hope for all creatures in Equestria... and at a certain school within the realm of humans.

This trivia is all Celestia based... both versions of her. Unlike previous trivia where it was all Friendship is Magic themed questions and one Equestria Girls question, this time, both have been given equal treatment. In my eyes, EQG has long since proven itself worthy of standing on equal footing with FiM.

So what have I got here? Eight questions, four from FiM, and four from EQG. If you wish to earn a badge, all questions must be answered correctly. Luckily, there is no bonus question this time so you don't have to look for anything truly obscure. Like previous trivia events, four days is how long you've got to submit your answers. And, I'm sure you've already figured out to send answers to @Princess Celestia. She will also handle the EQG answers. Again, send to @Princess Celestia.

It looks like a fun trivia event but I don't think I'll have the time this week to shoot for the badge. If I find the time I'll participate but for now I'll simply wish the best for all of you going for the prize! Have fun! :P

The addition of Equestria Girls could make this trivia event more challenging for some. I never actually got around to watching Forgotten Friendship (Aside from several YouTube clips), so perhaps this will be the ideal time to do so.

if you liked the others you certainly will like that one, it's actually the best equestria girls imo

Like I said, Equestria Girls I feel is on equal footing with Friendship is Magic at this point. So it made sense to me to have both have the same number of questions. Fortunately, these questions aren't entirely difficult if you know what to look for.

There was one scene where she was talking about all of the Princesses (besides Twilight), not just Celestia. Is that what you're talking about?

I managed to sneak my answers in with not much time to spare. Hopefully Princess Celestia approves of my answers, as I doubt I will be able to fix any errors in time.

That seems reasonable. I personally feel that both Equestria Girls and Friendship is Magic are rather important in their own rights, so the equal amount of questions is well deserved.

it certainly helped, but the big thing is they stepped up their game with the writing and directing of it, previous EqG were kinda lacking compared to it imo

Usually, the number is somewhere between fifteen and twenty-five on average. Sure, it might not seem like much, but then these are small events so having at least one person take part is better than none at all.

The trivia will be ending and the thread will be locked in about an hour from now. Barring any last minute entries, I want to thank everyone for taking part. Princess Celestia will be checking your answers either tomorrow or Wednesday. I also want to thank you for not posting any spoilers from the recent episode in this thread.
