I would like to take part in this, but I'm too busy having to work on the trivia event for Friendship Day. Yes, there is one coming, but it won't be available until later this evening due to reasons too complicated for me to explain. Each riddle set has a hint to solve it in this thread. 

Set ones hint is: This type of cipher shares its name with a salad, a month, and a former dictator. The key to solving it is the number of things the cipher shares with the person mentioned.

Set twos hint is: 4 become 3 via Annas Gramaphone

Sorry I just pinged these off some Twi Level friends and they did not get it. Sooo time to lower the difficulty a tad 

 

HINT ONE: The type of cipher is named after the person those three clues share a name with. The key is also hinted at. 

HINT TWO: Ana's Gramophone is a play on words. There is a type of puzzle that switches around letters that sounds similar.
