How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I became a fan of MLP:FIM when a friend told me "you have to watch this video." Intrigued, I watched the first episode (by that I mean the very first episode S01E01), and before I knew it, I had watched the fifth episode, and I knew I was hooked. The joy, the lack of cynicism, the love and friendship, the writing, the characters, it was so wonderful I had to be a part of its world, and from that day forward I knew.

I'm new here, but I'm very familiar with fora in general, and have been a fan of MLP:FIM since 2011. My favorite pony is Twilight, but I love them all, and I have a special place in my heart for Rainbow Dash, too. I hope to make friends here.

Thank you, @WWolf. I used to Admin a tiny pony board of my own (until our provider decided they were selling out). I was wondering if I would ever get the chance to really basque in the loving, friendly glow of pony forum again, and then I happened upon this one.
