Best way to watch season 9

My two girls love everything MLP and have not begun watching the 9th season yet.  I don't get Discovery Family. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to watch the show? We have watched all of the seasons 1-8 on Netflix.  Thanks!

Not a fan of the 9th season?  My girls are 4 and 5, they will love it I am sure. It is my favorite show to watch with them and I really want to start the last season!

There are ways to watch final season ponies other than Discovery Family,  but I don’t know of legal ones

I don’t fully know the best way regardless of legalities, but if you want to see it the legal way, I have a couple of options:

1. The first half and second half (ongoing) of Season 9 are on iTunes. The half-season pass for each is $30 in HD ($20 in SD). The first half is Volume 16, the second half Volume 17.
2. Google Play also split the two halves, and each half (13 episodes) is $7.99. That said, I’m not sure how watching it through Google Play works.
