Daring, have you sent Rainbow Dash other gifts besides early releases of your books? Also, do you consider it a gift, or a bribe to make sure she doesn't blab all your secrets?

Dr. C, was there ever a treasure you decided not to steal? Maybe it wasn't worth the effort, or it was too embarrassing to steal?

Daring Do: *chuckles* Pretty sure that bribing the Element of Loyalty would be unnecessary.  But not really. The only time I sent more than a book was when I sent a tiny knick-knack version of the Sapphire Stone when I sent her the copy of our first dual adventure.

Dr. Caballeron: The Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, hooves down. It's made of soild gold, accented with platinum and emeralds, so it's obviously valuable. But it's also supposed to be EXTREMELY cursed, and if you touch it, you could wind up with a variety of hexes, up to and including insta-death. No thank you.

Ahuizotl: Eh...  They can be pretty harsh. But it es understandable... I was put in charge of some very dangerous relics. If they got into the wrong hands, or hooves, it could be catastophic. Quetzalcoatl would speak up for me, but that could have only worked for so long.

In my opinion, the ittan-momen me and my henchponies ran into in Neighpon was worse. On paper it does not sound so bad: a living bolt of cloth. But when it nearly strangled Biff in his sleep... well... I did not sleep at all the rest of that trip...

Daring, what's your morning routine like? I know you aren't doing the dangerous archaeology stuff 24/7 since you make time to write books and other things, so I want to know how a mare of action starts her day. 

Ahui, I heard Cipactli costumes are going to be super popular this Nightmare Night. Just wanted to give you a heads up. You're not upset by this, are you?  I can't remember the last time I saw a Zotl costume.

Ahuizotl: I am not familiar with "Poison Joke". 

Daring Do: You wouldn't be. It's not native to the Basin. Too hot.

Daring Do: It's named for it's trait of causing somewhat amusing mutations in other creatures... Well amusing for everyone else, anyway. The effect changes from creature to creature, depending on what would be truly embarrassing or inconvenient for the victim. 

Dr. Caballeron: I have never come across it, thankfully. 

Daring Do: Ugh... I have... 

Dr. Caballeron: ... Well? 

Daring Do: ... 

Ahuizotl: What happened, Daring? 

Daring Do: ... *sigh* ... It made all of my movements make comedy sound effects. Taking a step. Sound of a squeaky toy. Flapping my wings? Sound of a whoopee cushion. Just trying to write? Slide whistle.

Daring Do: Hmm... Well it really does differ depending on what I've got going on that day.  But normally, I'll wake up, roll out of bed, throw on a housecoat and go to the kitchen. Make some coffee and hot cereal. I like it with butter and sugar. Take breakfast outside, read the paper.  Then I grab a shower if I need it, brush my teeth, mane, and tail. If I'm going out, I'll put on my clothes. If not, I'll just bum around the house wearing nothing, either writing my next book or doing research on whatever artifact I'm currently focused on.

Thanks for the answer, but if the events of "Daring Do and the Eternal Flower" are to be believed, Ahuizotl did have contact with Poison Joke, and the results were similar as in case of Applejack.

(Actually I didn't remember that when asking the question, only recently I noticed it by accident when checking some other things in that book. It's in chapter 15, pages 179-180, in case you want to check it.)

Ahuizotl: There are not a lot of bars en the middle of the Tenochtitlan Basin.  And book signing aside, I am not very fond of the stares I get when I LEAVE the Basin... 

Dr. Caballeron: We should take you to one of the Equestrian border cities. The pony population es far less concentrated, and even rarely seen species barely get a second glance. 

Daring Do: I don’t drink, but I’d likely have to tag along just to make sure two you don’t IMMEDIATELY get into a bar fight.
