Ask a Disney Princess

Recommended Posts

Being a huge Disney Fan, especially of the characters that are part of the Disney Princess franchise, I figured I could do an Ask Me page for all the Disney Princesses from Snow White to Moana, and beyond. I'll even include Merida from Brave, even though she's from the other studio.

Here's a handy chart of them in the original forms along with their crossover cameo from a recent film

The lovely ladies are:

Left side:

  • I won't do Rapunzel, since she's done by @Sparklefan1234
  • Merida
  • Aurora/Briar Rose
  • Cinderella
  • Ariel
  • Belle
  • Jasmine

Right side:

  • Pocahontas
  • Mulan
  • Tiana
  • Moana
  • Elsa
  • Anna
  • Snow White

So go ahead and ask away

"Ariel, what neat stuff have you added to your collection of treasures since you became a human?"

Well according to Eric telling me what they are, I added puppets, a pillow, a recipe book with all the seafood entries removed, and even an old carriage the horses used to pull. :pinkie:

Hey, Ariel, you like music, right? What do you think of this?

It's a little loud and not in a good way like Sebastian telling me to stay Under the Sea.:sealed:

Tiana - have you been getting any more respect since you became a princess? Or do you not tell people about that part normally?

Well, even though I'm technically a princess from marrying Naveen, people see me more as a hard-working successful restaurant owner. And I prefer it that way

Merida,

I know the queen was a bear for three days, but, if you could be a bear for a day, would you take it?

Merida: If eh involves 'urtin mah family, I woodn't dun' eh!

(How was my Merida impression?)

(Good impression)

Okay, thank you.

Elsa,

Despite the rough start, what's it like having Ice powers? I don't think your powers are a curse, they're a gift.

Elsa: Thank you. I was in fear of them for so long. But thanks to Anna, I managed to take control again.

To be honest, I feel that someday, I might be called on a quest into the unknown. And when I do, I might need to prefect my ice powers.

I can understand, since you were the only one in Arendelle with Ice Powers.

But, I still think your powers are a gift, not a curse, you just need to know how to use them.

Hey Aurora! You're my favorite Disney Princess of all time!

What was life like when you came first came back home with Prince Philip? What was it like getting to meet your parents?

Well, when I was awaken after that spell, I smiled recognizing him as the man I met Once Upon a Dream in the Forest. He quickly told me that he was the very Prince Phillip I was betrothed to. The last thing I remember before falling asleep was crying that I would never see that young man again. He was the first real person other than my Fairy Protectors who pretended to be my Aunts. So, even after being told I was going to be a Princess, it wouldn't make me happy if I had lost my first real human friend in years.

Luckily, Phillip explained everything to me. He came to the cottage like I asked him to, only to be captured by Maleficent. She was planning to keep him imprisoned for a hundred years growing old while I would have remained young in my sleep. All just to mock how true love can conquer all. But my Aunts not only got him out, but helped him get passed all obstacles thrown his way.

Even when Maleficent turned into a terrible Dragon, Phillip still choose to fight to save me. And he couldn't take all the credit as my Aunts were the ones who enchanted Phillip's Sword of Truth to take Maleficent down. They were the real heroes, who truly were looking out for my well-being. And I thought they didn't care about me when they told me about me being Princess Aurora and that I mustn't that young man again. Thankfully I was wrong.

And so, Phillip and I were able to walk down to the throne room where I finally got to meet my parents. Until Rapunzel, who was stolen away as a baby and her parents kept sending lanterns into the sky hoping she would one return which she did after she turned 18, my parents were expecting me to return on my 16th birthday. My parents, even if they weren't royals, still cared about my safety and we were so happy to embrace each other.

Elsa, ever go back to your ice castle, just to 'chill'?

Elsa: Sometimes I do, to check on Marshmallow and the little Snow Golems I created when I had a cold and was sneezing a lot on Anna's birthday.

One time after we decided to keep the gates open, we decided to do a little attraction where people would get a boat. They would make their way up the mountain to my Ice Palace where I would send them flowing backwards through the hallways. Once outside, the riders would pass Marshmallow and the Snow Golems and splash down back to the Arendelle Palace. A lot of people enjoyed it.

That sounds like so much fun!

Well, as long as they're giving you the respect you deserve.

Ariel - what about your human body was the most surprising/embarassing?

Umm... That backside where the legs meet my lower chest.

Mulan,

I know Mushu had a difficult time guiding you, but, he really did come around in the end, didn't he?

Anna,

Ever wished you had special powers like Elsa? Just asking.

Mulan: Yes, he did. But the less said about when Shang and I had to escort 3 princesses to a nearby kingdom for an arranged marriage, the better.

Anna: Not really. I find that fists (and swords) work just as well for self-defense.

(As an ONCE Upon a Time fan, I liked the idea that Anna was trained in swordplay which she taught to ONCE's version of Prince Charming back when he was a simple Shepard defending his farm)

I mean about in the camp, battlefield, and saving the emperor.

(OOC: You said "Mushu really came around in the end" in your original post, and I answered that question. And right now, I'm really angry because of something that was beyond my control. I'm still taking questions, but I just won't answer right away)
