Season 1: Dragonshy (Have to mention Hurricane Fluttershy)

Season 2: Return of Harmony (Though it has stiff competition)

Season 3: Magic Duel (Pretty much the only even decent episode in that dumpster fire of a season aside from Sleepless)

Season 4: Twilight's Kingdom (But this season was absolutely filled with greats)

Season 5: Amending Fences (It's pretty easy, even with a few other fairly good episodes)

Season 6: To Where and Back Again (An underrated episode, for sure)

Season 7: The Perfect Pear (But after the drought before A Royal Problem, there were plenty of contenders)

Season 8: Rockhoof and a Hard Place (It's an easy choice with the inconsistent at best Season that was S8)

Season 9: Student Counsel (I'm surprised it took until Season 9 to write this episode)

For some seasons its hard to choose, but here it is:

1. Party of one(probably top 10 in the whole show)
2. Lesson zero(one of the best episodes ever)
3. Wonderbolt academy 
4. Flight to the finish(this episode made me a scootaloo fan)
5. Crusaders of the lost mark(the cutie map and amending fences are pretty much all tied as the n.1 of the season, but slight edge for COTLM for the moment)
6. Flutterbrutter(a very realistic and mature episode, although every little thing she does is a very close second)
7. A royal problem and the prefect pear(both episodes excel at what they meant to do, both are my favorite episodes in the series)
8. The washouts
9. The beginning of the end(best 2 parter, one of the best episodes in the show)

Well, some fans hated that episode, and I admit it has problems, like the too good ending(season 6 fixed it), starlights backstory not as epic as expected, some of the dialog and so on. But I like this episode, it had some amazing moments.

Ahhh yes. Spike and Smolder shipping fuel..
