Chelsea started to pant again. Quite the sickening feeling was stirring in her stomach. She could feel the sheer evilness through the reading of the paper, and felt a very bad force around the area. Without warning, she gathered water energy and fired a ball of water at the papers, soaking them all up. "I...I couldn't take it...I-I'm sorry..." Chelsea said with a sniffle. 

Thundy felt a creak in his heart. He grunted. "Chelsea must've felt something..." He said.

As everyone is searching for an important for an important information about the curse, Shadow took the time to browse for Milenko's personal items like the solo picture of him hanging on the wall, he looks like a very handsome dragon. She let out a sigh Why are dragons always need to be the main antagonist of a novel when there are other intelligent species to choose from?

Her thoughts vanished when her attention is turned to Trilby. She approaches and stood behind Trilby as she listened Samurai read a file

That...Shadow finds herself both speechless and amazed of how strong a curse Milenko used on Trilby and his first targets are those who are powerful.

Why...Why would Milenko want to take control of Friendshire? What does he gained from that? 

She could hear Chelsea's soft fragile voice and came over to path her head. The mystery is just slowly growing. The main question is: Why does he intend to control the entire town?

Samurai was convinced. This was exactly what they were looking for! "This is perfect, Trilby! Now we just need to see how many were--" But before Samurai can finish his thought, he and the files are suddenly soaked. Samurai's eyes go wide. "NOOO!!! My weakness!! Water extinguishes fire! I mean, the documents! They're wet!! My weakness! The documents!" Samurai waves his hooves and runs in place in a silly, cartoon panic.

"Wha--? Huh? ...Chelsea?" Trilby looks back and fourth between Samurai and the source of the attack. He soon finds Chelsea, and she doesn't look so good. "Oh my gosh, Chelsea, you look horrible!" Trilby runs to her side to help her out. "Thundy, we--! Oh, hi Thundy. Good to see you again. But first, let's get Chelsea out of here! I think this place is taking a mental toll on her or something." Trilby says and begins to escort Chelsea out of the office.

At the same time, Samurai is desperately trying to save the files. He is separating pages and lightly using his fire powers to help dry them out. "Please don't wash away. Please stay on the page... If the water washes away all the ink, we're done for!" Samurai says to himself, knowing that water can wash away ink from ink pens. As he tries to save the documents. As he desperately tries to salvage the records, he also reads the pages while they are still legible, though some of the ink is all ready washing away. "Come on, come on... This page is about tests. This one is about discovering magic. This one is about comparing dragon magic to pony magic... We just need to know if he cursed anyone else. That's all." Finally, Samurai finds the page he was looking for, but time is running out. The ink is running off fast. "This part is about Trilby! Uhh... Trilby was the first test subject. It was a success, but... I think it says he wants to proceed with caution? Something about a pegasus and an earth pony?" Samurai is piecing together what he can read, and skipping over what he can't. He might need some help reading the pages, or saving them.

“Chelsea, fight it off, fight it off!” Chelsea was... She couldn't describe it. The female griffon was like trying to fight a non-existent entity. She gave a look of concern at Chelsea before glancing at Samurai “Pegasus and an Earth Pony? Does he mean he has two other test subjects!?” she was practically yelling due to the situation they are in. Stuck between helping Chelsea or try to snatch the papers and hold them up in the sky in order to make them dry but doing so may cause the ink to smudge while she's flying. She looked back to Chelsea “You can do it, Chelsea. Fight it!”

Thundy could sense there was panic going on after he heard what seemed like water. He sensed Samurai was in a panic and saw in his mind what had happened. He knew that the evidence was important. Yes, Chelsea's pure heart was very sensitive, but she had to overcome the impulses of her own. Thundy concentrated and tried to restore what was the evidence of Milenko's evil doing. It put a strain on Thundy because of his impure heart. He looked a little tired and was panting lightly. Fortunately, what was written on the papers was restored. Though it was slightly distorted, it was a still readable.

Without any warning, chaos erupted in the room. Chelsea, overwhelmed by whatever was on the papers, threw a ball of water on them, causing the words the smudge. Samurai, fearful that important data would be lost, began doing what he could to dry out the papers. Chelsea was still breathing heavily from whatever she had seen, so she was escorted outside. Everyone else was shouting at each other, which caused Pencil’s heart to race with anxiety.

In an attempt to calm most everyone down, she trotted over to help Samurai with the papers. Thundy had restored them at least 80% of the way, which made her feel hopeful. She knew she could restore the rest of the writing with a little ‘art insurance’ spell she invented. If she were to ever spill something on one of her drawings, she could reverse the effects like there was never a spill to begin with. Putting her full concentration on the papers, she lifted each one with her magic and carefully aligned the letters to their original positions. Since this was not her own work, the spell was a bit difficult and some words took more effort to restore than others. Thankfully, after a few minutes, the ink was fully restored to what it originally looked like.

"That pure heart thing must be pretty rare, I've never heard of it before..." Tree Song continues her conversation with Thundy, then something happens...

Trilby finds important evidence, but Chelsea's reaction is going to ruin it! Nopony tries to vaporize the water before it reaches the papers, without much success. Fortunately it looks like the magic used by others is going to save the records. The druid then concentrates on Chelsea's mind, trying to calm her down. "It's OK Chelsea, your reaction is understandable. But I really hope the evidence survived... So, do we have any clues as the the identity of the other victims?" He asks Samurai, who tries to read the files.

Tree still stands outside, but she puts her head inside the office, trying to figure out what's going on.

There was a lot of panic going around. Trilby was fanning Chelsea, hoping to help her calm down. However, the atmosphere was affecting Pencil, Thundy, and even his marefriend Shadow. If nothing is done, Tree might join in too!

It wasn't long ago that Trilby was released from the curse that kept him trapped in his own world. Trapped in insecurity. Something that made him feel like a coward who shouldn't even try to do things for others because why bother. Normally, it takes any regular pony or creature a while to recover from this. Even Trilby's old instincts make him want to run away. But right now... Right now, his friends need him! Tilting his hat back, he stands in a central location.

"EVERYBODY PLEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEE BE QUIET!!!!" Trilby shouts long enough to make EVERYONE in that room stop dead at what they are doing. Of course, he waves at Samurai to let him keep working, but he's got everyone else's attention. Perfect. "Now I know what we need. We need to calm down, breathe, and take it easy. And I know just the way to do that... Music! Music soothes the savage soul." Trilby nods with a smile. He looks over at Shadow for a second. "I was going to save this as something special for Shadow's ears only, but if it helps, then so be it. Chelsea, you don't need to work or try so hard anymore. There's no Dr. Milenko here. You lifted his curse all ready. And even if something bad were to happen, your friends are all here for you. Even me... We'll support each other no matter what. And you can count on my support too."

Trilby looks around and sees a radio in the doctor's office. Turning on, he tunes between stations. "Come on, give me something... R&B. Adult Contemporary. Smooth Jazz. Any of those would be just--" Trilby finds the perfect station. "There!" The melody sounds like soul music. Throwing his tattered shirt into the air, Trilby uses his magic to suddenly make it disappear. And now, Trilby stands wearing a black fedora with a wide brim, and a black suit jacket with sparkly sequined collar, and in his hooves is a microphone. It's just for show, but if it helps then it helps.

Trilby begins to sing, making up the words on the spot and hoping this will make Chelsea feel better. "This is our fork in the road. Love's last episode. There's nowhere to go, oh no. You made your choice, now it's up to me, To bow out gracefully; Though you hold the key, but baby` Whenever you call me, I'll be there! Whenever you want me, I'll be there! Whenever you need me, I'll be there! I'll be around." But he can't forget the reason he wanted to do this in the first place. So in the next verse, he faces Shadow Trail and sings just for her. "I knew just what to say. Now I found out today, That all the words had slipped away, but I know, There's always a chance. A tiny spark will remain, yeah; And sparks turn into flames. And love can burn once again, but I know you know~ Whenever you call me, I'll be there! Whenever you want me, I'll be there! Whenever you need me, I'll be there! I'll be around, yeah." And after a smooth little dance break, Trilby sings to everybody. "Whenever you call me, I'll be there! Whenever you want me, I'll be there! Even if I have to call, I'll be there! As the music begins to die down, Trilby takes a bow and cuts the radio with his tail before checking to see if it helped everyone.

Well, at the very least, Samurai was impressed. He smiles and managed to slow down and work a little more methodically. However, it was the combined magical efforts of Thundy and Pencil that fully restore the documents. Samurai sighs in relief. "Thank you, everyone. I think I can take it from here." Samurai picks up the pages. "If I'm reading this right, after cursing the unicorn named Trilby proved successful, he wanted to try and test in on an Earth Pony and a Pegasus just to be sure. Cursing the pegasus Elusive Facts proved useless because she's too distracted in her work to stay in therapy sessions for too long. And... Details, details, details... The only other creature he successfully cursed is... Keen Fan." Samurai reveals, answering Nopony's question. He double checks all the paper work. "That's it. That's all he cursed, just those two ponies. He wanted to curse more powerful citizens like me, Thundy, or Kronos, but he never successfully brought any power house citizens into his office. And now he's gone for who knows how long." Samurai finishes explaining.

"Oh my gosh...that takes me back!" Thundy said as he joined in with the lyrics with Trilby. He knew this song because this is what he grew up with. His dad was quite the motown listener and Thundy started to belt out the lyrics. 

As for Chelsea, she started to sway her hips to the music, which made her feel a lot better.

Pencil flinched when Trilby screamed at everyone to be quiet. She didn’t know he could get that loud. Her heart rate sped up, making it even faster than it already was. She had to take a few long, deep breaths until her breath regulated.

Trilby wanted to keep everyone in this relaxed state, so he put on some music. Pencil didn’t remember seeing a radio in here before, but perhaps she just overlooked it. As the music began to play, she lightly tapped her hoof on the ground. She swayed to the beat, feeling much more at ease now that everyone else was enjoying the music as well. As soon as it ended, everyone went back to their normal conversations. Pencil listened and kept an ear out for anything useful.

“He’s cursed another pony we know, too?” she asked, bewildered. “Is that just a coincidence or is Milenko trying to target ponies the group here knows?”

As the duo arrived at the carnival, Dynamo made sure to park close so they would remember their parking space. There was plenty of room, so it wouldn't be in the way of anyone. As he put the car in park and turned off the car, Dynamo blinked in surprise as Bluebell had leapt out of the car. He was about to ask how she had jumped out, before he his hoof was playfully tugged by the bespectacled mare. "Woah! O-Okay, okay, Bluebell! We've got plenty of time to ride some rides and play some games." He chuckled with a grin. All the while finding her enthusiasm to be both infectious, as well as adorable. "We should try and get tickets first. However, is there any rides that you see that catch your attention?"

As he paid for their tickets to ride the rides, Dynamo looked over at Bluebell, who had pointed towards something. Following her pointed hoof, Dynamo's jaw dropped as he saw a loop coaster near the Ferris wheel. He gulped in worry as he wasn't exactly keen on loop coasters. Some roller coasters he could be okay with. Loop coasters were different as he had a fear of falling out of his seat, while going through a loop. As he was about to object to Bluebell's dare, he stopped as he stared into her eyes. It was as if all the reassurance in both her gaze and smile was enough to help the gaming unicorn in feeling brave. He didn't exactly know why, but he felt that he would be safe with Bluebell by his side. "O-Okay, b-but I double dare you to go with me." He smiled softly in nervousness, hoping that she would be down to ride the coaster with him.

Trilby looks to Shadow to see if his song impressed her at all, but instead finds that another mutual friend of theirs is also cursed. "Keen's like me?" Trilby asks sympathetically.

Samurai nods, but smirks. "Hey, look at this way. Keen's the last one with the curse, and Milenko has left Friendshire. If we can help her, then we're done." Samurai takes the important documents and keeps them for himself. "Evidence. Just in case we'll need it." Samurai walks away from the desk. "For now, let's get out of here. Our mission in this office is done." Samurai says, walking out.

Trilby goes over to Shadow. "Should we try to find Keen and see if we can break the curse on her too?"

"But now the question is...if Milenko has left Friendshire, and we break the last of this curse...wouldn't he come back?" Chelsea asked. "Chelsea does have a point. Evil foes feed off of curses, and sometimes, when that positive energy seeps in to interrupt the power of the curse, the foe knows something is up. It senses where the energy is coming from and does directly to the source doing whatever it takes to restore the power of the curse on the victim." Thundy explained.

Thundy poses a good question. Samurai stops for a moment. "Simple, Thundy. If breaking the curse becomes a summoning beacon for the evil doctor, then we'll do what we did once before." He turns to Thundy and faces him with a smirk. "We'll protect the town. I remember a time when that responsibility fell on my shoulders alone. But last time the town was in danger, I saw titans rise to defend it. Among them was a pair of powerful griffon hybrids, a heavily-armed cyborg, a mighty gamer unicorn, a surprisingly skilled artist, and more. And even if I somehow fail, they won't. I believe in that." Samurai affirms.

"...And a hat maker." Trilby suddenly chimes in. When the others look, he lightly blushes, rubs the back of his head, and looks away. "Well, I'm still discovering myself of course, but I want to help in any way I can. If you'll have me, of course."

"Then so it shall be!" Thundy exclaimed, powering up to his SSJ form in a sort of victory/pride pose. He relaxed as the aura faded, remaining in his SSJ form for the time being. "It makes me wonder just how sensitive Milenko is to purity...perhaps a dowse of water infused with the purity of my spirit could render his abilities completely useless...or even better..." Chelsea stated. "Are you thinking about what happened in the Wizard of Oz?" Thundy asked. Chelsea nodded with a smile on her face.

Shadow nodded to Trilby “Yeah, that's what was on the paper says” she told him, referring to the document which was thankful saved from the water. Why Milenko put a curse on someone in coma is a mystery, maybe he was testing whether Keen would react to the curse, was it a desperate attempt to cure her?

Her thoughts we're once again interrupted by the stallion she loved. Even if Keen is cursed, it will be as easy when Trilby is cursed right? “Yeah, we really should find her”

"There is something you all should know" I step in to explain the situation. "I examined Keen when you were in the video game, and, with the information I have now, I can tell you that she was one of the ponies possessed by Nightmare Moon. And when Nightmare Moon left, she got into coma. I'm telling it to you because you should be aware that there can be some complications with lifting the curse, not only because of the coma, but also because of a possible interaction between Milenko's magic and Nightmare Moon's magic. So we should be very careful, but I hope with Chelsea's amazing healing skills, maybe it will be possible not only to lift the curse, but to cure Keen as well."

"Also" I turn to Shadow. "Please tell us what you know about Keen, any information can be helpful here..."

Samurai nods. "I see... Then why didn't the spirit of Nightmare Moon detect this curse before?" Samurai asks. "Because the curse is mostly dormant. Most of the time, you don't even know you have a curse. So it's possible Nightmare Moon didn't even know it was there." Trilby explains. "Well, if Nightmare Moon does appear, it would be easier to lift the curse with her help. With alicorn magic, a curse like this would be no match." Samurai explains.

There could be a chance that the curse could detect that a source is trying to remove it from the host, which wakes it and ignites the effects it has on the inflicted." Thundy supposed. "And who knows what would happen if Nightmare Moon tried to rid the curse...unless her magic doesn't contain darkness, which I highly doubt, wouldn't the curse just feed off of it to grow stronger?" Shadow was tempted to scratch her head everytime she heard that name. Who's Nightmare Moon, everypony sounds like they have met that... pony before. That name already gave her a bad feeling but she hadn't known them yet her friends talked as if they were an alicorn.

“I only met Keen a few days before the video game incident and I haven't known much about her other than she's a gamer like Dynamo” she told Nopony.

When she heard Thundy's theory on curses which also involved Nightmare Moon, she began to think the mare being mentioned multiple times may be good or a villain especially when the griffon mused Nightmare's mygic may help them rid of Milenko's curse... Or feed it while confirming Nightmare is a mare.
