resolved "Submit reply" errors

Recommended Posts

For some reason I keep having this issue where if I hit the "Submit Reply" button, it doesn't work and I have to refresh the page and hit the button again before it does. I'm occasionally running into the same problem with reacting to content.

Is this a problem with the site or a problem on my end?

Is this after editing a post or something? Or just have had replied before?

It happens sometimes when I try to hit a button that says "Submit Reply", and sometimes when I try to brohoof a post or status update.

Ah sry. I mean, does this happen especially when you did a page action, such as submitting a post, edit or reaction already on the same page without reloading the page?

That's exactly when it happens.

Yup, totally can confirm this problem from my side. Happens quite regularly, I suppose the MLPF staff/devs can't do anything about it anyways, so just reload the page then, maybe better copying - not cutting out - the post before doing so just to be safe.

This is merely a guess, but maybe that error only appears after having written a reply or edited one. So, a workaround for the reactions bugging out might be to first react to posts and then writing or editing a post. Might be worth trying out.

You know, I cleared out my computer's browsing history on Saturday and the problem seems to have gone away. Hopefully I got rid of whatever was causing the problem.
