Pony and kirin are alive. They might do an expression with their muzzle from that angle, that changes how they look. You have clearly worked on this drawing for a while, and then checked how the show did it?
Just remember that the show do change the length of the muzzle, depending on the angle! It's shorter from the side than from a quarter view. Also, I can see the real show has skewed the eye a little bit too much for that angle. You have made a better choice with the eye, making a new one for the angle. Much more alive, and very cute!

These are just WIPs of Project 15 or Manehattan Kirins part 3

 

Basically to show what to expect from the final product and to convey the idea of what I've learnt so far in animating ponies

Ok, here's Cinder!

I modified the puppet structure when I was porting her to Flash

The result is a tidier and easier puppet to animate

I went ahead and tried animating a bit of her, and this is what Ive gotten so far

For some of you who still remember, yes, I made another pony holding a gun

Manehattan Kirins 3 is probably cancelled and I'm currently improving the animation puppet

Probably going to redo the whole thing when the time comes

An implementation on how the ear symbol would look in practice

Some kirin ears which are still halfway done. I made them look more similar to the regular pony ears I made, which means they might lose the thing that makes them stand out from the regular ears. What do you think about them?
