Crazy how people were so flustered about this show when it first came out, and just like that, the first season is over. Fitting for a show that's so fast-paced, but still. I liked the way they made fun of news reporters, showed us all those characters again while pitting the Mane 6 against each other, and had a pretty decent song to wrap everything up. Love how it was more like what people were expecting from Equestria Games, even as I feel weird about Vinyl Scratch just being called "DJ".

Something was clear to me: just like Magical Mystery Cure, the developers weren’t expecting to go past this season. Just look an AJ, and new local fourth wall observer turning off the TV
