The star trek movies, the newer ones from 2009 onwards are complete trash.

Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines is a bad sitcom directed by a sitcom director. Talk to the hand indeed!

See the real one instead, Terminator 2 Judgment Day

I think the Big Bang Theory isn't that funny and tries too hard.

I think that some of the Disney Live Action remakes can be pretty decent. Of course none of them are as excellent as their original animated counterparts. But that doesn't mean to automatically shun the live action version. especially since fairy tales have been retold many times over and over over the centuries

Kyoshi opinionated mode activate. *inhales*

  • Modern Disney is a terrible corporation that now produces nothing but dumbed-down nonsense to appease the mainstream populous and the chinese market at the cost of actual creative integrity. This goes for everything under Disney's deathgrip now.
  • Likewise, Disney fueled Marvel movies are boring, unsatisfying and nearly all the same brand of soft-PG-13 drivel. Endgame was definitely more intense than the others, but time travel as the main plot device? Seriously?
  • Season 3 of Attack On Titan ruined the show.
  • Blair Witch Project is one of the best horror films.
  • Sinister is one of the dumbest horror films.
  • Starlight in FiM was one of the worst character introductions ever.
  • Big Bang Theory is one of the most unfunny pieces of media in history.
  • Death Note is the epitome of cliches, bad writing, and terrible characters in anime.
  • Dragonball Z is insanely overrated. (I like some of the games for sure though)
  • Reality TV is one of the worst things to ever happened to media.
  • Speaking of, Pawn Stars is trash.
  • US game shows suuuuuck (I personally see no entertainment in watching other people win a bunch of money by answering questions)
  • Hacksaw Ridge is fairly obvious christian propaganda underneath its war/gore-porn surface and is overall an awful movie. It has great production and I acknowledge that it is very well put together but as a film overall, I cannot stand it. Mel Gibson clearly put in his own garbage to add more propaganda to this so called "true story".
  • 1917 is better than most US war films.
  • REC 2 is a disaster and an insult to the first film.
  • Passion of the Christ is one of the worst movies ever made.
  • The Witch is a fantastic movie despite being often over-hated because of its misleading marketing.
  • South Park at a certain point became a total sellout show with a constant atmosphere of hypocrisy. It giving a total spotlight to *gags* PewDiePie destroyed any and all enthusiasm I could ever have for it all.
  • The original Pokemon anime is horrendous, same with the original films.
  • I like Land Before Time 2 more than the first one (Even though the first one is obviously a faaaaaar superior film)
  • ABC World News Tonight is awful, especially with their bullshit "#AmericaStrong" segment.
  • TV-MA anime is often better than TV-14 anime.
  • Signs is both a decent and terrible movie. My opinions on that film are...complicated.

*exhale* That's what I've got for now. Mostly negative opinions yeah, but that's how this stuff tends to go.

I agree with this mainly because I don't understand the idea behind the season 5 premier.

The Avengers films are terrible as cinema.

I'll add to this:

  • Pulp Fiction is a good movie (took a rewatch to see) but no masterpiece. I honestly like Inglorious Basterds better as a film, from Tarantino's filmography.
  • The Thing is a mediocre horror flick that purely depends on its cast going out of character and becoming completely deranged.
  • Big Bang Theory is painfully unfunny most of the time, and sometimes even borderline offensive.
  • Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is the best in the entire franchise because it's the only one that actually puts aside the moral whites and blacks that ruin it.
  • Under the Skin is a painfully bad movie. Not only that, but it's very arrogant in its attempt to appear artsy instead of just disgusting and confusing.
  • Star Trek: Generations is one of the worst movies of the whole franchise. It's just Star Trek fan-service and that is it.
  • Deep Space Nine is actually really, really bad. Like it is, mostly, an abomination of a show that tries to turn Star Trek into a soap opera.
  • Enterprise, for the first two seasons, was a genuinely a great series that may even be better than TOS. BUT, I will not lie after that it was a disaster.
    • Also a side note, I think for the first two seasons Archer was an amazing captain. In fact if it weren't for seasons 3 and 4, he'd be 2nd to Picard.
  • Speaking of Captains, I actually do not like Shatner's Kirk and think that Pine's is better. And no it isn't only because Pine is an attractive... 40 year old man...
  • I think that Anti-viral (2012) is a masterpiece that hasn't been discovered yet.

That's it for now.

That's it for now.

To add on additional points:

  • Star Trek: Picard, although it has had its stumbles, is a good series so far. And I'll admit I also like the LGBT inclusion but not solely for representation's sake.
  • I have liked most of David Lynch's films, but his go at Dune is the worst science fiction movie I've ever seen in my entire life. And there's a few contenders for that.
  • The Godfather is just okay and I don't understand how it's revered as among the best films of all time. Goodfellas is way better, not even a competition.
  • The 2020 reboot of the Twilight Zone has had its ups and downs. But I welcome it more than most seem to. Even if there was one abysmal and actually totally racist episode.
  • The Loud House is an okay animated show, nothing really special to me. One bad thing I'll say is that Lincoln's voice is downright obnoxious.
  • I absolutely ADORE Hazbin Hotel, so don't get me wrong here, but Helluva Boss's pilot, as a pilot, is not very good. As an episode it's more than serviceable though.
  • I actually dislike Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo both in FiM. There I said it. Also on the subject of MLP, I still think Fluttershy Leans In is a good episode.
  • Steven Universe had an absolutely abysmal first season. So bad in fact I initially thought the whole show was bad.

So true. Except for the Onion episodes and "Lion King the movie 123", it was a random show that didn't know what it was going

  • ФNon of Avengers movies deserve hype they got
  • Sitcoms like Friends and Big Bang Theory are not interesting in general as a genre
  • Hazbin Hotel is great as an example that you can do wonderful things even if you're not a big animation company. But as a standalone show it's just good-looking average show with plot clearly about author (not-like-everyone girl surrounded by people who "don't get her"). I prefer Helluva Boss to watch
  • Seasons 2-3 of Berserk are not that bad, as soon as you get used to weird animation and sounds it becomes a great anime!

Did they changed the story from manga? I don't remember third arc at all but I also don't recall it being terrible. (Fourth arc (season 4 I guess) is absolutely awesome though)

Hah, but it has to do with history.

Also sorry for double posting. I was doing the merge thing, but must have taken just too long between replies
