I have a question for you 

What occupation do you think Stormy Flare has

This is a good question. Stormy Flare's design was neat, and sparked my curiosity. Now I'm unsure of what her job is, considering that it was never explained. That being said, I have a couple guesses.

I think she may have been a weather pegasus since stormy is in her name. Plus, if you look at her cutie mark, the shape looks like a bird with lightning underneath. The flare part might have been describing her personality when she was younger. Maybe she was know for having sudden bursts of excitement.

Another possibility is that she was like her daughter in the sense that she was a great flyer. It would make for an interesting "like mother like daughter" situation. Although these are just my guesses. There is not much the show has said about Stormy Flare.
