If there's anything I can't stand it's the overexaggeration of how terrible something is, to the point that it supposedly physically hurts the person experiencing it. Not necessarily because of the VA or anything, but mostly because then I can focus on what is going on and the art. It's too distracting to have to read all the time. I miss stuff. I'd rather pay attention to everything else on the screen rather than have to read one sentence real fast and then HOPE I catch what happened on the screen too out of the corner of my eye. The VA isn't all that fantastic but it's nowhere near as horrible as people make it out to be, on top of that they do worse things like cutting out a ton of content they shouldn't and not releasing their DVDs in more than three episode packs. <.< Um I think you misread my post. Also, I have no issue really with someone preferring the Japanese over the English, it's when they totally shun one or the other because they claim it's more horrible than it is or it physically hurts them that I don't understand their thinking. To me, listening to a voice actor is like listening to someone talk. I'll always watch English even if it's not as good because it's my preferred language but there's been times when I've had to watch a Sub cuz there is no dub. Like Pandora Hearts. I almost had to watch Darker Than Black's second season subbed but it's getting an English Dub so I wanna watch it. Not so with the four bridging episodes though so I still had to watch those subbed. It's not like I totally don't understand your position just I don't think dubs are nearly as bad as some make it out to be. A Japanese version was added for video release. I love this version. If you watch the movie, you'll see why it fits so beautifully Ghost in the Shell SAC 2nd GIG I'm adding this one because it's a mix of Russian and English. It's also amazingly cool! The Major is one of the all time best characters in anime! It seems that YouTube banned all posts of the actual opening animation. Here's the full song with a still shot! All I did was cut the first two entries to post as a separate post so they would embed! Why did doing that make the youtube links from the part I didn't touch go away?
