So some help is wanted, I'm new here and I don't know what Your content will need to be approved by a moderator means. Does this mean I have to wait to be approved by a moderator before people can see my content?

Yes. Brand new users need to wait until a Moderator or Administrator can review the content and account to ensure the new account is legitimate. Once you have a post in a place that counts content and the post is approved, your content will no longer be under review.
