MLP spinoff with the Mane Six as fillies.

Would you watch an MLP spinoff that starred the Mane Six as fillies? It would be called, "My Little Pony Fillies" and be like those cartoons that took characters from an existing IP, and turned them into kids or babies, like Muppet Babies or Flintstones Kids.

As long as the quality of the writing remained in the same level as it was for the majority of G4 I would pay for that.

Would that be a telling of their youth or completely disconnected from the the main story?

Ugh, the horrible kids/babies trend from the 90's? Totally not!

It was a hit or miss thing that unfortunately was more often miss than hit. On the other hoof, would rather watch that than the upcoming movie

I was not a fan of the "babies" trend growing up, never really liked The Flintstone Kids, Tom and Jerry Kids, or A Pup Named Scooby-Doo watching Boomerang when I was young, so chibi MLP with Pony Life is all I need.

Probably not, wouldn't make sense considering the canon that they met when they were adults.

Well, Twilight either wouldn’t be in it or would have to have a subplot running throughout.  Just because she hadn’t met up with the others yet.

I was just gonna say that would be cute but I never considered that logically, the Mane 6 wouldn’t know each other as fillies

I care primarily if the show is of the same quality as the original, but it does kind of sound like a slippery slope conceptually.

 

Honestly, I'd rather they just moved on to new characters.
