resolved Limiting people to your profile

So when I try to go in somebody's profile I got a message saying they have chosen to limit who can view their profile. Is this a new feature or is it possible for me to do the same thing? If so, how do I do that?

I've already noticed in another topic that this kind of feature shouldn't exist so you may go ahead and close my question unanswered

This was a shortly lived issue with a configuration we took offline. This has since been resolved.
