The new Animation looks great, please stay this way G5. Also i dont understand in general why changing the style more often than not causes a riot with fans, arent fans supposed to be supportive? No? GatebreakerGT 20 Share March 29 I can't really say because we haven't seen too much of G5's animation, but if I were to choose regardless. Landi72 190 Share March 31 Though I wouldn't mind them reusing the G4 style, ideally I'd want a slightly different 2D Style. Maybe something like the toon boom style of the 2017 movie. I think the 2D character models with the semi-3D, detailed backgrounds look neat. I hope that the G5 series ends up having a 2D style similar to that, for it would be different enough from flash while keeping the same 2D charm. Also, I'm fine with the G5 movie being 3D, but if the whole series is, it could become aesthetically unpleasing real quickly (especially due to having less of a budget than the movie). 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I stopped watching the show in 2015, mainly due to elements that made the whole production firmly a children's show, namely rather simple story writing and high-pitched or childish voice acting and sound effects. Assuming that hasn't changed much in the years since, no matter what they do to the animation for G5, it's not going to interest me. Ellie Daras 8 Share April 5 I think it's hard to say for now. I want to see more of G5's animation to judge if I prefer G4's animation or not. I want to compare both MLP Movies with each other along with comparing the show when it comes out. But honestly, I don't think a new animation style is the end of the world. It's kind of par for the course for MLP and I think it could look great given sometime in the oven. But G4's animation is hard to top, so we'll see what happens.
