I cannot for the life of me join the MC server

I went through the entire process of installing fabric, java and installing the right versions but the people on here say the server is in 1.11 when fabric doesnt go back before 1.14, then I saw a post saying the server is in 1.13 which still doesnt work. I've spend like an hour doing this and I don't even know if the server is still up anymore, someone PLEASE help

The poniarcade minecraft server are currently not running and not expected to be turned on again.

Due to lack of online users and no further interest from the server dev to keep the server updated.

So, wouldn't it make sense to hide/remove the entire sub-forum then or at the very least update the forum's "banner" so that it's clear to anyone that it's totally down/gone?
