general Do you give names to inanimate objects?

Do you give names to everyday objects? I have a habit of endowing inanimate objects with personalities and names to match.

For example I have numerous names for my car, such as Electra, Pacifica, Blue Angel and her pony name, Blueberry Twinklewheels. I have a pair of violins named Rosetta and Proximo, and my handgun is named Thunder Nugget. What objects (if any) have you given names to, what names did you give them and why?

I only gave my pony plushies names and it was their names, hehehehehe.

 

I have given some nicknames to a baseball bat but that's about it.

@Dreambiscuit I named it a few things, I forgot some of them but the latest nickname that I've given it is The Blade.

I did as a kid, but not anymore. I just refer to it by what it is.

I name my cars lol. My first car I named Harley after Harley Quinn. My current car I named Sonic because it’s pretty much the same color blue as Sonic the hedgehog lol.

No I don’t but it’d be a cute idea if I had any important/special objects for which a name would be fitting... now I have to think of some!

I had a geometry compass which I named Mr. Stabby because I kept pricking my hand on it in class.

I don't. Well, there's kinda an exception to this: I always use every computer for a nice fantasy based names and I certainly use these names than. I'm not sure if this what the OP had in mind

I sometimes refer my car as a female. Should probably think of a name too..
