The thing here is...you gotta know the personalities and how the character acts. Fluttershy is shy yet kind. She can stand up for her friends if needed be. You have to find songs that really outline these characteristics. What would be even better is genre matching. Twilight Sparkle is technical, so something like techno or dubstep could work. Applebloom is country, so country rock fusion could work.
