Sunshine and Celery Stalks definitely has that 2011 vibe... I love it.

In my opinion, one of the best fan-made MLP songs is Lullaby for a Princess:

I've been listening Vylet Pony casually and it takes the cake. Bonus points for a recent release!

 

Album wise, I'd choose Skream Me Some More by Scraton. Album is in a playlist but you should find it from this. He does have a few other albums I would choose but this one is more oriented to the Brony community.

I've been listening to more of her music lately, she's amazing! 

This song along with Antonymph, Protagonist Syndrome and Nonexistent Meet-Cute are my favourites from the album. Everything Glimmer as well, that song is pure bliss to my ears.

While I technically prefer L-Train's "Fall of an Empire" album, I think musically this album is the better one.

Lullaby for a Princess. I prefer MEMJ's cover over the original, personally.

But more generally, I would consider Ponyphonic's songs to be the or at least among the best the fandom has ever produced.

But for the sake of spreading awareness, I will also mention Radiarc here: I believe he is far too obscure considering the quality of the orchestral songs he has composed over the decade.
