There he was, little fledgeling Thundy...in an unknown world. He was once a human, but that all changed one day, after a freak accident. After being nearly abandoned by his parents, Thundy didn't know what to do. So now, Thundy finds himself in this new world. Thundy looked around not knowing where he was. "Wh...where am I...? This doesn't even look like earth anymore..." He said looking for someone or something to talk to. At this point, he was clueless, confused and a little scared.

"Hey, get back here, thieving brat!" A voice yelled from behind. It was not directed at Thundy, but rather a much smaller pony, hood over their head to cover their features. They jumped into a nearby trash bin, hiding. Thundy was the only one to see this.

A loud booming voice tells from further back, belonging to a big, angry earth pony. "You come back here and I'll feed you to the Everfree beasts, dirty street rat!" He shook his hoof before grumbling off.

The pony in the trash bin peeked their head out. They must have seen Thundy because they fled back inside. Must have been confident in their sneak stat.

"Hm?" Little Thundy asked as he looked at the scene unfold before him. He then slowly made his way to the trash bin and flapped his wings to look inside. There, he saw a pink filly. "H-hey...what's going on...are you alright?" Little Thundy asked.

The pink filly flailed comically, her hood falling down to reveal a long messy mane and big round, deep rosey pink eyes. Next to her was what looked like a sub sandwich still in its wrapper, which she hugged protectively.

"W-wait! Don't bust me! I'll do whatever you want!" She seemed a little panicked.

Thundy looked at the scared little filly. "Awww, don't be scared little one...I won't hurt or bust you..." Little Thundy said kindly, putting the pieces together. "You must be hungry..." He added. "What is your name?" He asked.

She seemed a little weary, but relaxed a bit. She stood up, still clenching the sandwich like if it were a plushie she didn't have.

"I'm um, Pastel Heart... atleast, on a good day. Sometimes they call me other things." She shrugged and looked down, trying not to think about said things.

”Awww…it’s okay…I know how it feels Pastel…” Little Thundy said nuzzling Pastel lovingly. “My name is Thundy…I don’t actually know where I am…” Thundy added looking around, then back at Pastel.

Pastel blushed, eyes wide before looking at him with a cute smile. "Atleast take me out to dinner first, dude." She giggled. She seemed confused by what he said last though.

"You don't...? This is the biggest city in Equestria... wait, you must be from the Griffon Kingdom across the water... well, you ended up in Manehattan. Bet buildings arent as big as this back home." She spoke well, but carried an aura of loneliness and sadness. Those bright pink eyes didn't reflect any light.

”Wait…Man-hattan? I-Ive heard of Manhattan, but…not Manehatten…this is definitely not earth…but it’s like earth…” Little Thundy said to Pastel looking around at all the buildings and skyscrapers. It really did remind him of New York City.

Pastel raised a brow.

"You're... kinda weird... but, I guess I am too." She smiled weakly. She climbed, or more accurately, stumbled out of the dumpster, holding up the bread. "Wanna split it? Somepony always ends up taking my leftovers, so..."

"I get that a lot...especially...back in my world...and sure. I am kinda hungry anyway..." Little Thundy answered as he helped Pastel get her footing back on the ground. Thundy gathered some electricity and shapeshifted into his anthro bipedal form, now standing on two paws. He was slightly taller.

Pastel bounced back, surprised by this new development.

"Woah woah! What? How did you do that? You're not a unicorn! Are you some kinda protagonist? Or a supervillain?" She got a little more excited and animated than before, atleast, resembling more of her previous incarnation.

”My electric abilities…I’ve had them for sometime now. I used to be…what is called a human…but after a freak accident, I turned into this…” Little Thundy said as some sparks crackled.

"So... You're from another world? I've read books like that. That's cool! I knew they weren't all fake." She smiled. She looked a little intimidated by his size though. "Just dont eat me. I don't taste good... I think..."

"I would never do that...especially to a cute little filly like you Pastel..." Little Thundy replied. "...so other than Manehattan, what other cities or towns do you know of in this place...?" Thundy asked curiously, taking a small moment to look at his surroundings again.

"Well, there's Ponyville, the birthplace of harmony, Canterlot where the princess lives, and um... I dunno much else. I don't get to go to school..." Pastel looked down sadly.

"Ponyville seems like a nice place...I went to school back where I come from...I could teach you some stuff I know if you...want..." Little Thundy offered, using a talon to raise Pastel's head up so she looked him eye to eye.

Pastel was so small that even the slightest touch made took no effort. Even for a filly she seemed smaller than average. Of course this could also be because of an unhealthy diet.

"Teach me... what? I'm just a street filly. I'm sure there are like, princesses and stuff you can teach..."

Little Thundy gently picked up Pastel. "Well, nature, special talents, some math, and whatever else you'd like to learn..." Thundy answered holding Pastel close. "I'm sure you'd have to...pay to go to a school around here...since...this is a...big city..." Thundy added.

Pastel seemed excited... for the most part.

"Um... Scratch the math part?" She smiled. "School would be nice, but the orphanage cant get me there... It would be nice to have a life like a normal foal." She looked down sadly. "I'm sure theres books and all kinds of things I haven't seen before, but.. what kind of pony wants me? I'm kinda weird..."

”I…I’d want to take you in…” Little Thundy said hugging Pastel close and nuzzling her lovingly with his beak. “You’re gonna have to learn math sooner or later…” Thundy added starting to walk in a direction.

Pastel blushed as she was nuzzled and looked away, pouting. "I hate numbers..."

Despite her protest to mathematical learning, she didn't put up a struggle as she was carried. It was like toating a stuffed animal.

"Awww, s...sweetie...numbers are everywhere...you have to at least know how to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide...you'll...need all those skills..." Little Thundy said stroking Pastel lovingly, still holding her close, arriving at what seemed to be a train station.

"Do not." Pastel brattily responded, looking away. She looked like a grumpy cat. Maybe she needed a snack bribe.

She recognized the place she was at. It was always fun for her to watch the train come and go. She seemed a little more relaxed.

"You won't be able to...get snacks or anything if you don't know how to use math..." Little Thundy replied as he sat on a bench, waiting for a train to come. He placed Pastel on his lap and rubbed her back lovingly. "Let's see if we could go to that...Ponyville place you mentioned..." Thundy stated.
