@Kujamih

Blu was annoyed at how quickly his reserves were drying up, Dancer had never seemed to have that issue after all, but he figured he'd simply need more practice and training before he had that ability.

Still, now he had a stable position above the tree line, which would shield him from view from anything on the ground, plus with sighting the castle he had a destination for the next day. Even if it was most likely abandoned, it would offer good protection while he figured out where exactly he was, and what to do next.

He set the Kernel down securely so it wouldn't fall down during the night, before settling himself in. While the rest here wouldn't be as comfortable as a real bed, he had gone camping enough times to be prepared. He used his coat to secure himself to the tree in case he moved too much in his sleep, and simply hoped he'd prove too much effort for any predator.

Twilight walks into the house and looks around the place somewhat hesitantly as she sits down on the chair. "That's fine. Fine, I suppose I shall join you. I have not much other purpose here, currently." she commented casually. "In case if you don't know, I am from another dimension as well. I came here of my own accord, really." she spoke, looking deeply into Bon Bon's eyes.

"I know." Replied Bonbon.

She showed her bracelet as it flashes bright red when it got nearer and nearer to Dusk Radiance.

" What kind of a pony am I, if I turn over the one who saved me?" she smiled towards Dusk Radiance.

" I'm actually glad you accepted my proposal and stayed with us. Because if you didn't... The other Smile operatives would hunt you down. They're not like me and Bonbon. Some of them are kinda vicious, and has some problems..."

After Lyra finished patching up herself from her wounds, she would go get some papers in a closet and gave it to Dusk Radiance.

" Just write your name here and sign, and I'll do the rest. I'll give you a fake birth certificate and put you as one of Lyra's relatives and recommendor."

" You'd be gaining ranks in no time, I assure you."

" So for now, since your gears haven't been given to you yet."

She opened a secret compartment on the wall and took what's inside. It looks like a horn ornament.

" Lyra uses this before. This equipment amplifies your magic 2 folds but also expands your energy twice as well."

"Extremely  helpful in emergencies, and also helps trains the mind to increase magical energy and regeneration... Just use it in moderation. And if you want access to our secret library. Give this card to the librarian."

She shows off her card and gave it to Dusk Radiance.

"Just return it back to me when you get yours okay. I barely use mine anyway." She winked at Dusk.

Meanwhile at Blu's side of the story...

He has thought that wild creatures were stalking him from below, but little did he know that that wasn't gonna be his biggest problem.

He'd noticed that it has gone too quiet from below and the caws of the crows have stopped. He noticed one of the trees having a red pulsing light. Like it was a Christmas tree or something, but it has only one pulsing light.

Further visualizing the tree you'd notice that someone is up there as well. It's hard to tell what it is, but it seems to be looking at you.

Twilight would put the horn ornament over onto her horn. She felt that it did have an influence over her horn, like she had a larger access of magic. This means she would be able to cast two spells at once, really. "Have to say that everything here is more advanced than where I come from. In my world, Queen Luna banished her elder sister in the Sun 10 years ago when she unleashed a devastating drought on our world, after bringing the sun a bit closer. There is no possible way to reverse this. I read the other stuff about this world. most of those 'villains' mentioned do not exist except for Chrysalis, who rules her own Kingdom of Changelings, who are also effected by the drought." she spoke as she would take the papers, signing them.

Then she'd also take the card, looking at it a bit too. "Must say I'm rather thankful for the nifty ornament." she blushes at that statement.

Bonbon was quite happy seeing you sign the papers.

" Thanks, you've no idea how much this means to me." She would then take the signed documents and place it on a small capsule.

She would proceed to put it on a device which would burn the capsule to smoke. The smoke would then have a mind of its own and proceed to travel outside, somewhere in the distance.

" This technology by the way is our transporter. Dosn't use much magic and is quite portable. any pony with a small amount of magic can use it.

" This was a collaboration with pony science and ancient dragon magic. Who would a thought, that a little cooperation with the other races can lead us so far to the future. Of course this isn't the only technology we have a collaboration with other species." Bon bon bragged.

As the sun continues to set, so does too, the impending doom approaches...

"If you have more questions for me or you need anything, don't be shy and ask away. And even though it's closing hours now. The Library can't say no to you if you flash that card at them." She winked towards Dusk.

" As for your room. It's at the second floor at the very end, to your left. It has a great view of Canterlot."

Then Bonbon forgot that that room is not entirely available to be used yet.

" Oh crap, that room is a bit messy. We've been spying the princess from afar and installed a high powered telescope in that room as well as other information relaying equipments.

" So I'll leave you and do whatever you want, while I fix up your room before you go there, okay?"

Bonbon would limp to the room and try to clean it up.

@Kujamih

Twilight approved of Bon Bon's devices there and was clearly impressed by her work and began to look about the place. "Well, thank you again for providing all of this interesting technology and gadgets for me. I am going to the library to gather up all the books I feel like I'll need and then I'll be back by the time my room is ready." she spoke before waving goodbye, then she'd leave out of the room and head to the library. Once at the library she'd flash her card to them, as she proceeded to gather up magic spell books. Primarily fire and ice ones, along with dust manipulation books too.

Blu wasn't actually all that concerned with the tree with the light, nor the quiet. As tired as he was and being used to a different world, he figured it was nothing more than a radio tower light that had come on from the late hour. He did not consider that there were apparently not many, if any, aircraft that needed to be warned away from such things.

Per the quiet, he did figure it meant there might be a danger nearby, but would follow the example of the other creatures and remain still and silent. He was, after all, trying to sleep. Still, while he couldn't operate the gun he had in his coat, he could probably wield the pocketknife. While he didn't think it would be too useful against a larger predator, it might help ward off other unsavory visitors with intent to disturb his slumber.

" enjoy yourself then." Bonbon replied, as she heads upstairs.

As she enters the closing library, the librarian would naturally great her and inform her of their closing hours. But a flash of the card would immediately alert the librarian of her status and immediately invites her to a locked door that seems to lead to a secret room. There she'd find all the books she wants.

Her choice of books like fire manipulation is available, and quite common too. But the ice spells where kind of hard to get by, there are books about theories  in thermo dynamics and heat transfers. Maybe in that way she could learn something there and apply it for ice magic.

As for dust magic. It seems not much about dusts and more on soil or rock manipulation. And if it's about dust, she might be able to apply it with wind magic.

Choices choices choices.

The librarian seems to notice that you are planning on taking a lot of books with you. So she informs you that,

" Ahemm madam. You may grab as much books as you want and read it here inside the secret room. But you may only take 1 book with you outside." Oh and if it's not much to ask, can you tell miss Lyra that she has not returned the book she borrowed? It's titled Eastern Arts of Stealth and Shadow Spells. It's been 5 years now."

 As illiad tries to sleep, his conscious would slip and wake up inside a net, hanging upside down. Then a pony would appear beside you.

" ODT captured heading your way now" she spoke to herself. But it seems she has a communication device with her.

It's quite hard to move around since the net you're in is quite tight and you're upside down the glare of the sun doesn't help you identify you captor.

Twilight smirks widely at the secret area being immediately revealed to her but she did understand the rules of the library. She respected libraries, but would be sure to take the time in here to learn what she wanted first. The fire manipulation books were readily available in here anyways so she would plan on reading those ones in here, while taking the more complicated thermodynamics book with her so she may review it more in depth.

"Thank you, and I will be sure to remind Lyra of that. I will be in the other room, reading. If you need something from me or if something happens don't hesitate to tell me." she spoke, before going into the other room. Sitting down, her magical aura would go over the various books and pick out the fire and wind spell books first. While she may not be able to take the books with her, she would summon in a pencil and paper, and begin writing down important notes about she was reading for further use, while also beginning to understand how to cast those spells. As she flips, her knowledge grows.

@Kujamih

Blu was not impressed that he had been captured so easily, Magic really was a strong force in this world. He did his best to take stock of the situation. (I assume since you did not mention otherwise that his stuff is still with him and he is only inhibited by the net)

He idly considered if Lyra was the one who had captured him, but figured she'd talk to him if it were her, and could be made to forgive him for what he was about to do. He thought about trying some offensive spell Dancer had shown him, but figured that now wasn't the time to try new things.

He'd make like he was struggling in the net, bur was really moving his pocketknife to an advantageous position, as well as his head so he could better look at his captor and the net containing him. If the net was weak enough, he'd use the knife to cut open a hole for him to escape out of. Otherwise, he would wait for an opportunity, preferably one where his captor was facing more towards one side than the other, then he'd use his magic to quickly stab them in the flank, or thereabouts, and press the blunt of the blade against their neck so they could feel it there. It wasn't a long blade by any means, it wouldn't cause much lasting damage in the stab wound, but it was still sufficiently lethal in the proper usage.

Of course, if his captor spoke to him before the opportunity arose to strike, things would likely play out differently.

But, if they did reach the point where he was holding his captor at knifepoint, he'd say firmly "Don't move. Try anything, and you won't be in a position to try much else. Open the bag, and let me out."

@Illiad Easle

As he got a better view of his captor he'd see a mare covered in black cloth that looks like a fine silk tightly wrapped around her body, what one usually sees in a ninja. But what's unique about this pony is it, having wings. And the only thing that you can identify is her glowing red eyes hidden behind her dark vale.

Before Blu could reposition himself, the pegasi would tug the net and bring Blu closer to her.

" If you're smart enough to notice that you are in my element, you'd think twice to leave my good side." She says to Blu, while pointing and hinting that both of you are up in the trees and one of you can fly and the other can't.

" I don't mind bringing back a dead ODT." The pegasi said, with no hint of emotion coming out of her.

She'd then punch Blu and the net would seem to tear up a bit.

" Oh, the net is a bit worn out, so I suggest you hold on tight. It WILL break." She grabbed the end of the net, then pounced off to the air and starts to fly off with Blu, who is struggling at the fragile net.

Even if Blu didn't struggle, the net seems to slowly, but surely cut loose. If Blu wouldn't hold on to the net, he might fall off to a very dangerous height.

Trying to grab the pegasi is also impossible, as the distance to her and you is a bit far and she'd easily notice you trying to climb the net towards her. She'd try to shake you loose if you did.

"Beta, this is Alpha. I'm heading to the drop off point. Prepare the cage and extract the ODT to GG Headquarters. ODT status is dead, over."

Blu was surprised, given the apparent incompetence of the pair that had first captured him, that there were actually, at least apparently, competent agents in the set. As monstrous as this one was, I mean, who punches and threatens to murder a foal? Blu was resolved that this agency deserved complete and utter destruction for housing such monsters.

He considered taunting the mare, but didn't want to risk calling her bluff. Still, he wouldn't just wait out the trip, taking the opportunity to practice his magic using a pair of gloves he found in his long coat. If he could get good enough at moving the fingers, which shouldn't be too difficult as he already saw his magic as an extension, or replacement, of his hands, he'd soon be able to properly wield his gun.

The pegasi would stare at you menacingly, even if Blu wasn't easily scared off by her stare, he'd definitely the weirded out. One things for sure, he'd definitely notice her staring at him.

"... Your either brave or stupid. Brave to consider bringing me down with you? Or stupid not to notice how high we are. I don't want you to be stupid... So I'll teach you how high we are..."

The pegasi released her grip from the net, dropping Blu to his death.

Twilight was able to grasp the basics of fire and wind magic. She could also mix up this elements to amplify one another, the only thing she needs to do now is practice.

Meanwhile... time has passed and the sun has finally set and the moon graces every pony with it's presence. The street lights in Ponyville greets the moon by lighting up one by one, to aid ponies going home at night. While Dusk Radiance watch from afar, by the window, as these events unfold right before her.

It was surprising how little fear Blu felt, falling to his death. While he had previously been terrified while flying with Lyra, it seemed his fear stemmed more from the uncertainty of falling. Now that the uncertainty was removed, he felt calm.

It wouldn't be difficult to break the rest of the way out of the net and spread himself out, using his coat and body to catch as much air as possible. If he landed in the trees, it would hurt, but he might survive.

He put the Kernel between himself and the ground to cover his barrel, it probably wouldn't help too much, but increased his chances of survival somewhat.

That done, he closed his eyes. They say it's better to be relaxed when falling, no better way to accomplish that than to not see it coming.

As Twilight finishes up the reading about the fire and air books she would take a moment and set them down - in order to look out over the sunset and appreciate the beautiful sights ahead. It was quite a shame so few would appreciate the sight. A small smile forms under her lips. After about 5 or so minutes taking it in, she would go back to reading. Although she'd pick out some electric magic books and begin reading.

Twilight could only find theories about Lightning Magic, since controlling this element is considered impossible, and deadly. Her knowledge about Lightning does increase and could be applied with her fire and wind magic. And a clue from one of the books about Lightning, recommended to master water, wind and ice magic.

One theory also points out that Light and Lightning magic has a huge similarity and yet still hard to master.

Looking at the clue, she would begin reading through water magic. Perhaps she could combine her water and wind magic to create a storm? That would be very interesting to say the least. To combine all these types all at once to create potent spells. Smirking at the thought, she read on.

@Illiad Easle

Alpha would cautiously follow and observe the falling pony, curious at what it might do. Will it survive? Or will it die?

The unicorn tried to relax as he falls. But his first impact from a branch would make it quite difficult. A great surge of pain would creep up at his side. He was able to endure it but the pain is written all over his face. But his fall would still continue. Alpha would land at the branch he just crashed on and forcefully break it off causing him to fall once more.

He'd end up crashing at the very bottom quite badly beaten up and bruise. Luckily his last drop was beside a muddy swamp.

It may be disgusting but the soft cold soil is very soothing than the branches and abuse Alpha gave you as you fall.

While Blue struggles at the muddy swamp Alpha would perch on top of  a branch where she can easily see you.

" So what have we learned?" She mischievously said.

She would then throw another net towards Blu who is still struggling at the muddy swamp he is stuck at.

But this time he'd noticed the net to be quite heavy.

" Oops I was supposed to throw you a floatation device... Looks like I ended up using a weighted net..."

Blu will drown if he could not escape the net and the muddy swamp.

Twilight is cooking up a storm in her head. Thinking up of theories and possibilities. World changing ideas to malicious intent. What would this pony think up next?

Studying water magic was quite tricky to understand since she's just reading it from a book and no actual practice is being made. Even though Twilight has some skills in chemical magic. Water magic has some kind of rules and fluidity that is very unique to the rest.

As she tries to study more though. Thoughts would distract her more than learn. The what ifs and possibilities truly astonishes her.

Again though. Reading books can help, But not putting it to practice would just waste that knowledge.

Twilight finishes reading the books. She put them back exactly where she found them. She still had the punctual respect for books much like our Twilight - the one we know and love.

With that, she would head outside. It was time to test her newly acquired magic skills beyond that of prying eyes. She went behind the library and began to practice her spells.

@Starforce

Just like a foal eager to do what she has learned, she would try to cautiously and silently try the magic she had learned.

She would easily manipulate a small wicker of fire. Then applied a bit of wind magic. The flame became strong and bright. Her excitement caused the flame to respond with her emotions and caused a wide dazzling flame.

You recall at some book you've read that a theory about friendship and love can highly influence Magic.

You tried water magic next. But again you find it quite weird and hard, since she had a hard time understanding it in theory so in practice... Twilight was somewhat successful but then again it needed more practice.

But it seems you've gathered a bit of a crowd and the librarian's attention.

It seems her fire spell was too bright back there.

The librarian was quite unpleased, since you were using dangerous magic near her library.

"Ahemmm!!! I expect you to not grab any ones attention any further, since our occupation is very, how should I say this...secret. and please refrain from doing dangerous stunts near the library..." The librarian scolded Dusk.

She then proceeds to shoo the crowd you formed.

@Kujamih

(I went along with this event at first as I thought Lyra was going to save him, but I don't enjoy fighting for my life. Can we move on?)

Everything hurt, breathing especially, while the Kernel had likely saved his life, it also seemed to have broken a few ribs as well as puncturing a lung. He wouldn't be surprised if at least one of his legs were broken too.

And now he was sinking in a swamp, and this monster wanted to watch him die. Well, he wasn't going to give her the pleasure.

He made a token effort to struggle, but that was simply to retrieve and prep his pistol for firing, a silenced Ruger Mark III, using a glove to replace his hand as he had practiced before he was dropped.

He didn't have any preconceptions that his magic was strong enough to pull the pegasus down, but it would at least be enough to slow her down, if not hold her still, especially since he intended to give this his all.

With all the might he didn't need to hold the gun, he grabbed the mare's short mane to hold her head still, took a steadying breath, and fired two rounds at her head.

If they missed, he'd keep firing, trying to pull her closer by his grip on her mane, alternating between attempted body shots and head shots until he exhausted the 10 round magazine.

Then, regardless if the monster was dead or not, he'd give up. His vision was going dark at the edges and he was so, so very tired. It hurt to breathe, and the mud was cool and comforting on his broken body. He closed his eyes and allowed himself to sink into the swamp.
