It takes place between The Ending of The End and the flashback in The Last Problem.

It closely follows the cannon, but incorporates strong Action and Combat elements.

It inserts humans, but treats them like they were always part of the word. They also have magic: Elemental powers based on Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Ether, along with many other elements derived from them like poison, iron, vortex, and time.

The one thing that this story I feel is missing is an origin chapter, like...how did the humans discover the pony world? Who were the first humans to do this? There are other questions lingering too.

Chapter 0 should clear up the background issues. Basically, this story treats humans as if they were always part of the world, but went into hiding thousands of years ago.
