Idea for AU G5

I have this idea of an AU:

Argyle was just an eccentric and rather self-absorbed pony who deeply loved the daughter he never understood.

Sunny grew up seeing her father (as how he was in the MLP: ANG film), and when she realizes how he truly was, she wonders if she can really have friends when she sees how badly she can see others as what they're not.

Not much is know about Argyle at this point, but I still find it scary to think about anything fatherhood related.
