Is it time to revisit G5 pony emotes?

Months ago there was a push to make emotes out of ponies' faces from the G5 movie, but it was eventually decided it wouldn't work cause they're 3d.

Well now that we have Tell Your Tale, which is both 2D and has a lot of good face potential, maybe it would be a good idea to revisit that idea?

I am okay with this as long as they are not the 3D models. Those did not look good. I say we use TyT..

We can also try to use those awesome emojis that MyM uses during their streaming, hearts and monkeys and stuff:

 

 

 

I totally agree that the 3D ones won't work, but TyT are compatible.... kinda (the design is not my favorite, and it will not work with rounded emojis like the previous ones)

People could always draw 2D versions of the 3D models, unless that isn't allowed.

Actually, we may be fully revisiting all emotes in general in the coming months.  The only way the 3D models work is if we update the style we have adopted since we started the emotes. In other words … new emotes that don’t have the rounded shape constraints.
