"Didn't mean to question your decision your highness." Una apologized "I just believe that you were right after the first meeting in that, you, we, should keep an eye on her." "Because if she is willing to help us just because it 'may be fun', who is to say she won't work against us later because it's 'fun'" it was the problem with buying allies rather actually winning them on your side, what happens when someone is willing to pay more than you?

"She most likely will, but it's important to take the chance and make use of her now - while she is on our side, so to speak." he stated with narrowed eyes. "Let's go. We must case the place, find and examine every possible avenue for exit. Study everything, incase the plan goes wrong." he said with a scowl.

Una nodded, she had an idea but didn't say it yet since Sombra wanted to move on and it didn't relate to their current plan, not that rethinking it through would do any harm, since well thought out suggestion would ultimately be a better suggestion. She also realized it probably wasn't a good place to share it either since it related to Flint and they couldn't really be sure if she had actually fully left, sure she couldn't feel her anymore, but since she was some kind hybrid of different creatures, they couldn't know how good her hearing really was. Though she was doubtful they were listened to, Flint just didn't seem the kind to secretly listen to things.

As they would proceed back to the museum, Sombra would take a closer look at it's exterior. It had one large grand entrance with a large outdoor area, though there were three other entrances that weren't as grand. He would be sure to keep those in mind for the future. When they entered into the museum again, he would inform Una quietly whee the guard areas were and what the layout of them was like, before he would examine other areas of the museum he didn't have time to previously.

If not told otherwise, Una would just follow Sombra, looking around but not really focusing that deeply; this was the third time she was in the museum, and there really was no place left for her to investigate. For potential exists, it wasn't really that complicated, there were several exits for the simple reason of fire safety, the guard areas were also a thing, though they probably weren't the best first choice, and then of course, the windows, sure the frames were such that most creatures couldn't fit through, but Sombra could seemingly go through smallest of cracks, and she herself had a set of horns and wings, so she would be able to ram through something, or just fly through the fire; she didn't know if she was fireproof, but certainly it wouldn't be a big deal if she just got enough speed under her wings.

As they both assessed their surroundings, Sombra would make it clear that they should just wait until Flint does her "distraction". It may be a couple of hours but they were blended in fairly well with the large crowds and Sombra didn't want to accidentally miss any situations that unfolded here. He had to get that amulet. If he had to wait for it - so be it. He's waited more than a thousand years. He'll never part with it again.

Una had no arguments, after all, she didn't exactly have anything else to do, but she did wonder how slowly time would go, since waiting by just...well, waiting, tended to get boring, sure it went slightly faster while they could look around the museum still, but since the plan was to take place after it closed, they would need to leave before waiting was over.

Speaking of plan, they hadn't actually made one yet, Una spoke quietly "Should we go somewhere more peaceful and go through the plan? You haven't mentioned what we...or I guess more specifically I am supposed to do." she said it of course with full respect, as it was the truth, all she knew was that he wanted the amulet, and the armor, and they had acknowledged that the security needed to be dealt with, but Sombra hadn't shared any actual actions they should take, closest thing was deciding to use an axe to break the glass...but what axe?

Sombra would look to Una. "We'll go out and find an axe somewhere...doesn't have to be an axe...I know where to look." he would state to Una. "We have several hours to get what we need. I'll go to the armory and get what we need. I suppose what you should do is stay here and just be on the lookout, when we take what we need...we'll go as far from here as possible." Sombra stated, his eyes narrowing deeply. "The Amulet and the Armor comes before anything else." he'd state. If Una had no objections, he would proceed towards the armory in his shadow form to remain undetected, within the shadows.

Una didn't object, but when Sombra had left, she let out a sigh, lookout, for....she didn't actually have anything to swear on, the night? the sun? the lab assistant? ...for darkness sake, yeah that worked, for darkness sake, being the right hoof creature for king of darkness sure was boring, sure she didn't necessary want to do anything violent, but she couldn't say she didn't feel frustrated for not having a real use. She broke out of her thoughts when she felt something, the armor more specifically, now, that wouldn't have been too remarkable at this point, if it wasn't for the fact that she was nowhere close to it, the feeling didn't last long, but she still noticed it, had it sensed her feelings? and if yes, what feelings? she thought about it for a moment, going through what she had read about Nightmare Moon and....huh, guess someone like that would relate to how she felt, after all, Una was, almost literally, in Sombra's shadow, though unlike the royal sister, Una felt no need to betray anyone.

Sombra would quickly move along to the armory. Sombra himself had the armor that he needed - it was part of his actual body in a similar context like that of Nightmare Moon. He would be much weaker if his armor wasn't present on his body. He wasn't entirely sure how it came to be that way. Perhaps because of his physical form being destroyed twice, the armor itself merged within the energy of his magic? If that was the case, he wondered if he could potentially modify it to improve it. Sombra was in the mood to improve himself as much as possible - though for now, he wanted to focus on the task at hand.

Speaking of the task at hand, Sombra had arrived at the armory. Sneaking in his shadow form, he'd locate the weaponry section of the place. He'd see various guards milling about in the armory. Either ones that were on their shift, or others who were just in the area for whatever reason. Sombra would wait around half an hour in the shadows, until the guards would eventually get out of sight. Sombra would turn into his physical form and take a spear. He would also steal various chains, and a shield. He stuffed them under his cape. His cape was like a pocket dimension, so to speak. It had it's limits, though these items weren't thankfully near them.

He would return and look for Una, and would eventually find her. He was in his disguised form without the armor and looked like a normal grey stallion. He would inform he he found what he needed.

Una was where Sombra had left her, not only because he had told her to stay there, but also because she didn't really have a reason to change place, there was nothing more in the museum that interested her, she was also busy trying to figure out her own feelings, it turns out emotions were quite complicated when they seemed to be coming from more than one source. She hoped that however she was created had minimal effect on her self-image and emotional state, because having hints of memories that weren't her own was bad enough, and if there was even a small risk of her having several personalities at any point, in this case very literally, it would get really complicated.

She had no trouble recognizing Sombra, it was hard to ignore the unique aura of hatred around him, and simply nodded to the information "So what now? we wait?"

Sombra would look to Una as he approached. "We wait. There is nothing else we can do." he sighed and narrowed his eyes. "She is too eccentric to officially ally with anyone, I doubt this would be a trap...the Equestrians would never work with someone like her. But I am quite suspicious..." he would state, and sigh. He had nothing else to say. It was time for him to wait and see what will come of this situation.

Una still had no clue what exactly the plan was, but well, she'd do what she usually did, observe and react accordingly. "I also find it unlikely that she would be allies with...well, anyone really." "Even ignoring anything she said, the emotions coming from her are twisted." "She seems unstable enough that I believe that she's telling the truth with her intentions." "I'm not saying I trust her, rather, I believe that instead of stabbing us into our backs, she'll hit us with an axe to the face." it was of course
metaphorical, but she didn't find it happening literally to be that far fetched either.

And so she waited, in the museum, outside the closed museum, and eventually in the agreed place of meeting, assuming of course that Sombra lead her there eventually, it wasn't like Flint couldn't find them elsewhere.

"If she does, then it won't end well for her. Or us. One of the two. Or both." Sombra groaned, rolling his eyes. Already he felt as if he was making a massive mistake. But he went with it anyway, much to his own dismay. "If this fails, it will be...dumb." he beared his teeth. "Let's go." he commanded, and proceeded towards the agreed place of meeting. Then it was time to wait.

Una was actually slightly surprised by Sombra's response, that was probably the first time she had seen him doubt himself that genuinely, sure he had acknowledged his past mistakes, but even that he had expressed with a hint of certainty that he won't fail again, it was very...humble of him, she didn't know how to feel about it.
She almost responded but stopped herself because she realized what she was going to say would have been too direct, Sombra may have been lot more tolerating than she had expected, but sharing these thoughts could have actually been lethal. She also found it curious that she even thought like that, because it was in direct contradiction with her other thoughts.

If Una had to give one compliment to Flint, it would be how unbelievably unnoticeable she was considering her distinctive appearance and the weird metal...outfit? she was wearing, as yet again the first sign of her appearance was the twisted aura Una could feel coming from her "she's here" Una stated, and no more than few seconds later Flint quite literally dropped in front of them, yet again somehow not hurting herself even though the fall from the roof was more than enough to break bones. "sup." she had a bag with her that had glass bottles full of something in it "You want me to draw them in some specific direction or do I just go through the main entrance?"

Sombra would be sitting there as he thought over his thoughts to himself. He was very close to getting what he has sought after for many years. Even before his take over of the Crystal Empire he had been in search of what belonged to him. He created it, and it ended up getting stolen from him before he was able to make any use of it for it's intended purpose. The Alicorn Amulet was intended to be a vast vessel of power he would use on the battlefield to wipe out enemy armies with ease, to give shock and awe at invading armies that he would not hesitate to use a new and deadly power to destroy what stood in his way to his reign. Without it, looking back - he realized that he was lucky to last as long as he did. He could have fled somewhere but he would have thought of himself as a coward and chose to make a final stand even if it meant his own death. Now with what he knows now, he wishes he had fled.

When Flint arrived, Sombra instantly got to his hooves and looked to her. "Draw them out towards the back, they will have a harder time finding any help. We get in and get out as soon as possible." he spoke, "The back of the place sees fewer hoof traffic than the main entrance, even during the night."

"Well, the back will become the star attraction today." Flint stated in her usual smug manner "And you don't need to worry about me, you just do whatever you do, and I'll focus on myself." she started walking away, but while walking, she turned to face them, now walking backwards, and spread her arms "Welcome to the freak show, I hope you enjoy your stay." she then turned back around with a pirouette and walked off, towards the museum, it didn't seem she cared for any longer discussions, so they should probably get ready to make their move too.

She walked to the side of the museum, then turned around, and spoke to the guards in the front, if Sombra was close enough to hear at this point, he'd hear that she told them that she saw 'someone sneaking around in the back', one of the guards would then follow her there. Then, nothing for some moments, until suddenly the sound of breaking glass was heard, it wasn't the loudest sound out there, but it was loud enough to be heard around the front door, and to make the other front guard suspicious and go investigate.

Now it was time to act. "Do whatever you please." Sombra said with a sly grin, and would allow for Flint to do whatever she wanted. He would first listen to what was going on and hear her distracting the guards. He would wait for a few moments to allow the guards to head towards that area before he would act. Sombra would head towards the display with the Alicorn Amulet first and bring out his axe. He would then smash through the glass and not use his magic in close proximity to it, in an attempt to free the Alicorn Amulet and put it upon his chest. If it was successful, he would do so.

@Props Valroa
Heading to the display wasn't fully straight forward, because while the starting distraction had lured several guards, it hadn't been all of them yet; though Sombra wouldn't need to wait for too long, as soon enough there would be a sound of different glass breaking, this time from inside the building, followed by a very distinct *whoosh* sound, followed by more glass breaking, each followed by another *whoosh*, which in turn was followed by screaming, and shouts of "put it out!". Una was glad to hear the screaming stop quickly, as the context clues were enough to assure her that the guards had in fact managed to 'put it out' instead of the alternative.

This was followed by one guard running away from where Flint was, and shouting for the rest of the guards that weren't there yet to come there as they were 'under attack', after which all guard did leave their posts and run there, though soon one ran into the guard tunnels, most likely to get more help. After this it was hard to tell what exactly was going on, as there was lot of shouting and the clear sound of serious fire, but all that blended together into just noise from the distance.

Smashing the display also wasn't one and done, as while Sombra would be able to break it eventually, it would be take several strikes as the reinforcement was quite tough, and it didn't really smash as much as it bent until there was a hole. the thing had clearly been built with the idea that the amulet would stay in the box for good, though it did eventually break because nobody had considered that there would be no guards around to stop someone from beating it with an axe.

Una meanwhile...didn't actually follow Sombra, kinda his own fault for not giving her any orders, instead she headed to the armor, she first dealt with the pieces of the armor itself, since they weren't protected that well, being under simple glass, that could just be lifted after freeing it from the stand....though Una didn't do that, instead she just headbutted the glass, smashing it, though she left the armor there, Sombra could take it when he got there, she had no interest in the shards, the last one she took pinched her.

Then the helmet, it was better protected, and even with having tiny bit of her magic still usable, she didn't find a way to open it, so she decided to try headbutting it too, she had horns after all. So she backed up as far as the room allowed, and then rammed the glass, again, and again, and again, and in show of just how durable the 'glass' was, was the fact that when she finally got through, it wasn't due to the glass itself breaking, rather, whatever held the glass in place failed, and with the last ramming, it gave away, though Una couldn't just stop her momentum like that, so she hit the helmet itself, and since it was slightly above her, she basically ran in it.

Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, one could just take it off after all, hay, it wasn't really even on her head as much as it was on top of it, as it was the wrong way around and hadn't been made dragon horns in mind, yet, when she reached to pick it up to take it off, it didn't budge, and even worse, it started to hurt, a lot, it was like burning but not quite, and it soon spread to rest of her body, leading to her collapsing on the ground, trying to push the thing off her head while crying out in pain. Something that happened, that she didn't notice since she was kinda busy being in pain, and there was no mirrors around, was her eyes turning blue while this happened, they still kept the shape they happened to be in at the time per her constantly changing appearance, but they were now blue.

The blue eyes lasted as long as the pain, which was only some moments, half a minute at most, at which point Una managed to push the helmet off, and kinda just laid there for a moment teary eyed and shaking.

As Sombra neared closer towards the box with the Amulet, he could feel an intense carnal urge wash throughout his body. It was something he had felt when he was moments away from stealing the Crystal Heart for himself. But this time was different. There were nobody capable of stopping him here. If the guards came across him doing this, he would just blast them. But it seemed Flint already had the covered. As he neared towards the Amulet's box he could hear the commotion that Flint was making. It sounded as if Flint was using her fire breathe to distract the guards. Sombra didn't care at all about the screams of the guards. He heard his soldiers being shot and killed around him in the war - no Equestrian soldiers or guards who oppose him would get any ounce of sympathy from him. They knew their duties. If they died doing it, so be it. It was but a worthy sacrifice so that he may shape Equestria how he saw fit.

He swung his axe hard with all his might. Even with that, it took several tries to get the glass open. It was obviously no normal type of glass - but Sombra didn't exactly care. If Una was listening, Sombra could be heard grunting and growling hungrily like an animal which was just about to get it's prey. The loud swinging of the axe as it struck the glass was heard - sounding fairly ominous throughout all of the commotion here. He swung and swung, the striking of the axe getting louder. He probably over did it. Once the case was open, he would swing the axe at various angles to strike at the glass from the inside as he cracked it open. Eventually, he'd break the entire thing open within a few minutes of swinging. He'd be weary of any traps though, as he would use his axe in an attempt to pry the Alicorn Amulet free from whatever held it in place. If there was any kind of clamps or holding straps, he would use his axe to break them off. He constructed the Alicorn Amulet to be nearly indestructible through physical means, and he didn't particularly care if he had scratched it up a bit. He needed it more than ever. It was a calling, so deep and primal that washed throughout his very being.

Sombra had heard Una go over to Nightmare Moon's armor. He realized that he did not give her any specific orders but this pleased him greatly. His loyal minion was enacting his will without him even having to say it! Though, Sombra wouldn't get ahead of himself. As he attempted to pry the Amulet loose, he would notice Una put the Helmet on her head once she had broken the display off. He wasn't sure what was happening - thinking that the magic inside of it was somehow incompatible with her own biology. Whatever the case were, Sombra did not help her. It seemed she managed to get the helmet off either way.

There was nothing after the glass, only few small, flimsy hooks to keep the amulet from moving around inside, after all, nobody could have expected something like this to happen, it was quite unlikely set of events, and frankly, if someone did manage to get past all the other security, what else could have stopped them anyway? it wasn't like ponies were known for traps, especially not actually dangerous ones, that was more Sombra's style if anything.

It took some moments for Una to recover, and one moment more for her to realize that the sounds she were hearing was not in her head, as she remembered Flint and her 'distraction'. It wasn't that she felt bad for the guards, she didn't, even ignoring who was on who's side, every guard knew the risks, or at least they should, it was more that she felt bad for Flint's success, nobody deserved it. Soon the sounds of chaos was pushed to the back of her mind, as she tried to understand what just happened, while also getting up from the floor, still shaking a bit.

First thing she noticed, was that the armor was no longer 'calling' her, she could still feel its aura, but it wasn't as....alluring anymore, she also could tell that the pain she had felt was very much real, as her body was still trying to recover from it, and that was all for now, this wasn't really the right place or time to sink down into one's own thoughts. She didn't really want to touch the armor anymore, she was bit scared to do so actually, so instead she took one of the pieces of clothing she wasn't wearing and made it into a makeshift bag, and then, using the reinforced glass that she had broken off, she pushed the helmet, and then the pieces of the armor into it.

She had planned to just wait for Sombra to get them himself, but she had a feeling there would be lot more guards around soon....as in, actual feeling, she could feel a new aura, a powerful one, it was either many creatures with same emotional state, or a very powerful individual. She made her way to Sombra, the armor set tied inside a piece of clothing, she whispered "I think she may have been bit too effective, I think I can feel reinforcements coming." it didn't really surprise her, they were close to the castle after all.

Sombra would hold the amulet, now that it was freed in his hooves. For a second he would look at it as if he was holding some holy relic. His eyes contained that of hunger that no other mortal being could comprehend. "And so, you have come home. I have searched for you for over a thousand years...I created you, with all the power that I had. I only lost because I lost you..." he said with an almost sad smile as he stroked the amulet as if a parent would with a child. Then, he would stand up slowly. Creating an atmosphere of purposeful tension, he would place the amulet across his neck. His armor around his neck seems to transform organically, forming a holding bracket which the amulet is placed upon - as if magnetically.

As soon as the amulet contacts the armor, it is now one with him. His armor shimmers red for a second as well as his entire body. For a second the room was bathed in a firey blood red glow. The full power of the amulet washes throughout his body which seems to almost burn with red flame for a few moments. His eyes were shut. As his eyes open, Una would likely feel the sudden potent energy increase in Sombra. It was off the scale - for any regular pony, it would be far too much to handle without going insane. Though Sombra's emotions were perfectly calm, and controlled which was a stark contrast to his previous displays of emotion. Sombra had created the amulet on purpose to overwhelm any other wearer but himself.

Sombra would walk up to the Nightmare Moon armor that was sprawled out across from the floor. With but a sweep of his cape, it was gone - contained within his grasp firmly. No trace of it was left behind. He looked to Una, with commanding eyes that were now flowing with blood red instead of the usual green and dark purple. "We must leave and get as far from here as possible. Forget Flint. She can enjoy the chaos she causes for all I care, we need to move, NOW!" he said to her, and quickly sprinted off towards an adjacent exit. It was clear that Una had no choice.

"We must board a train that is departing, I don't care where. We will board a freight train." Sombra commanded, as they ran off. If there were guards in the area - he would be prepared to eliminate them if needed. As they left, his cape and corrupted form would hide behind his illusionary magic, giving him the look of a casual grey stallion.

Luckily Una had no morals of her own, as seeing Sombra getting the amulet and everything that happened after it, added to what they did to get the amulet, using Flint, would have very much been the realization of 'we are not the good guys here', or well, she realized it now too, there was no question at this point that from the point of view of the actual common good, they were the problem, she just didn't think about it much, because she wasn't concerned about the common good of ponies.

She didn't feel an energy increase as much as she felt a change in the aura, she couldn't have explained it if asked to, but while the aura itself didn't necessarily get stronger, she could tell that the source of the aura, in this case Sombra, did. There was also a yet another new aura around too, that of her own, it had gotten stronger and felt different, it wasn't emotional like the others she felt, or not as far as she could tell at least, though she didn't know what it was. But while she didn't know what it was, it would be clear to anyone able to sense it who was familiar with it, darkness, not hatred, not anger, not even dark magic, just pure, unemotional, darkness.

Una may have had no choice, but she didn't need one either, she had no interest to stay, and she wanted as far away from flint as possible, so there was no reason why she wouldn't have followed Somba.

Guards wouldn't be a problem for them, as they all were too busy with Flint, even outside, any and all guards they may have seen were going towards her, after all, she hadn't just lit something on fire, she was actively attacking the guards, in fact, the scale of things really hit Una when she got a brief glance into the direction when they passed it inside, the backup she had felt had arrived, and it wasn't an army of guards, no, while there were many guards too, there was one specific individual that caught her eye, certain blue alicorn. Flint had been so effective, that one of the princesses had come to asses the situation, luckily she didn't seem to notice the two thieves.

Sombra had taken note of the certain blue alicorn. It made his blood boil with rage. He hated that alicorn for all she was. She was one of those who was responsible for his downfall and the loss of his original body. As they ran, Una could hear Sombra speak - though it wasn't really directed towards her. "Witch of the Moon. I lost my original body because of her and Celestia. When I am through with this, their screams will be my victory. Rotten filth!" he cursed under his breathe. Though, he knew that a sudden attack would be something that would alert the Elements of Harmony and that would overpower him, even with the Alicorn Amulet.

"Little does she know, I have her armor, and soon, it will all be mine...along with everything else." he grinned deviously, giving a bit of a demonic chuckle as they ran to the freight yard. When they reached the Freight Yard, Sombra would sneak about a bit and look at the various train cars. There wasn't anyone around at the moment because it was night time. There were occasional lights here and there that illuminated the yard. Sombra was now focusing on the destinations that were described on the train cars.

Sombra was silent as he focused on selecting which train to ride. He settled on the destination of "Bitsburgh". A city he had not heard of. About half an hour of searching later, they'd find a suitable empty train container to get into. Once they were there, Sombra would lean against the side of the train car smugly. He seemed a lot more upbeat, strangely enough - now that he had the amulet.

There was no telling when the train would move off, but they were hidden from view at the moment.

Una didn't really feel anything regarding Luna besides slight worry about the fact that Flint had drawn her out, she didn't have any feeling of recognition towards her like she had to Nightmare Moon, and as was shown with Sombra sharing his memories, Una simply couldn't hate her. Though now that she thought about it, the princesses wouldn't have been out of the picture for much longer without Flint either, since the moment their theft was noticed, everything would go to high alert anyways, and frankly, as worried as she was about it, the attention Flint gained could end up helping them through making the princesses to go in the wrong direction in the coming investigation.

There was also the problem of their success, Sombra now had his amulet, something only he can use to its full potential, so, if that was true, then using it to its full potential would be a dead giveaway to the princesses on who had stolen it. Una of course didn't say this out loud, because she didn't think Sombra would take it well, but it was something she thought about, because as loyal as she was, she also worried about herself, what would happen to her if Sombra failed? not as in the possible punishment, rather, what happens to someone who is created to serve when their master is lost?

Una followed Sombra quietly, and when in the train car, she laid down, it had been a tiring day, and unlike Sombra, she was still limited by her physical body, and now that things calmed down, she could feel the tiredness rushing in. She did notice Sombra's better mood though, and it confirmed her thoughts from earlier, it indeed was lot more scary to see him happy than angry.
