NOOOOO!! I have too many friends like that (for some reason), I couldn't have a jobless partner too! I get if down the line, something crazy were to happen like long term disability, but to not want to work would infuriate me since I work 6 days a week to save money and I'm not letting someone get away with being lazy.

That sounds like it would be fun at first but eventually you would feel like a disappointment, watching people around you having careers and achievements. Of course you don’t need to be working necessarily to contribute to society, but that kind of structure definitely helps. Also, if something ever went wrong you would want to be able to support yourself.

Maybe? It kind of depends. Assuming that we don't get past the dating phase, I don't mind, as long as they don't expect me to pay for literally everything. If they are living with their parents or something, just until they can get on their feet, that's fine. But they at least have to be OPEN to the possibility of getting a job. We both might need it.
