"I want out!" She screamed, "You killed him, I want to leave! Let me out!" She got up from her chair, looking for an exit. She needed out of this deathtrap. Some even his own friends, but those deaths were quick. Brandon's was slow and painful. One of the worst ways to die; suffocation. Mr. Frensique sat in his chair, lighting a pipe. "Scotersfield," he said without looking, "How many people have pressed their buttons?" Scotersfield turned around. "Th-three out of five, sir," he said. Mr. Frensique, nodded, and leaned back more into his comfty chair. "Add screeching to the sounds, Mr. Scotersfield," he said. His finger moved toward a button to add to the noise, but there was a split second hesitation. <is this even right?> went a flash of conscience, but he quickly shook it away and pressed the button. However, Katie was freaking out about the dead boy, and was yelling something. Charlie was still shocked as well, but when he remembered the "government-funded" part of the contract, it freaked him out more. Our own government is finding this?! What the actual fuck? They're killing us off... then he heard the screeching sounds and quickly struggled to put his fingers back in his ears as they began to bleed. Eventually, Randal could not stand it and slammed on his button. About a minute after, the sounds stopped. Charlie took his earplugs out. "Thank god," he muttered. The rest of he group took out their earplugs as well. You could hear the scribbling of a pencil behind the microphone, then Scotersfield's voice. "Okay. Now for the anger test. Even after reading most of the contract, he stil managed to get caught up in this shit. "Guys," he said aloud, "I read on the contract something about this being a government project. If that's true, they can't risk us telling everybody," Charlie looked around then continued, "We might not get out of this alive. We're probably just lab rats or something for research." Scotersfield began scribbling on a note pad, then motioned for Sidworth to start the insults. Sidworth walked up to his own microphone. "You're all pathetic. You're crying about one death. One. Fucking. Death. You know how many people I've seen die in front of me? Tons." Sidworth looked at everyone, then continued, "What about you, army boy?" Apparently he was talking to Charles. How'd he know he served? "I can see it in your eyes. You lost your friends serving. And it's all your fault. You deserve to be in that box instead of the boy." Charles was boiling mad, his anger slowly increasing; he had a short temper. He was breathing heavily, trying to keep it in, but Sidworth continued, "How did you kill them? Did you step on a mine, but one of your comrades pushed you out of the way?" Sidworth's deep voice made everything sound horrible. Charles couldn't take it anymore. "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" he screamed, "IT'S NOT MY FUCKING FAULT, IT'S NOT MY FUCKING FAULT!" Charles leaned back against the wall, hugging his knees. It was as if Sid knew everything about him, and he was twisting up everything. Then he heard more scribbling. He had fallen for a trick! She then realized something. This was the anger test. She was going to fail. She tried to ignore Sidworth, and walked up to Charles, who was on the ground. She needed to distract herself. "You served in the army?" Katie asked, whispering, "I find that sexy," She sat down next to him, and smiled. Well, she tried to. She kept thinking about the death of Brandon, and she started to cry. Charles rubbed his head and couldn't help lightly chuckle to himself. His anger reduced because of realizing that it was a trick, but he still had memories of the death of his friends, which traumatized him. This godforsaken experiment was worse. Katie was weeping now, and Charles spoke up. "Hey, hey, don't cry. Brandon seemed like a nice guy. No one deserves to die that way," he said, trying to comfort her. "Hey, you," Sid said to Zachary, "You a loner? You seem like the kind of person with no friends. Seriously, I bet your own parents didn't love you.
