This looks very good. The shading technique you used is pleasing to the eye, but the lineart contrasts it too much.

I can see the appeal of this style though. Some suggestions would be to experiment with different types of shading (cel, soft, cel+soft combo, hatching...) and lineart (thick, thin, w/ pen pressure, lineless...) and see which ones you think look the best together.

You said this is your first fanart, right? Play around with the tools you have and practice drawing ponies. More importantly have fun doing so!

Thanks for the some suggestions! I would try experimenting and try practicing drawing ponies, and try experimenting the different types of shading too.
