gaming Why don't some people like the gameplay of early Final Fantasy games?

Its just too boring  I mean interms of what you see.

Like FF7 and outwards always have some animation to get you going, something happening.

Even Phantasy Star 1-4 has something going for it. And i think thats the problem, it just doesnt excite people to see JPEGs floating or non moving pictures outside few frames of animations. 

This is something FF7 really fixed interms of excitement, and why it became such a popular game when it was new.

I already know about the kind of people who say, "Put any turn-based JRPG in my hand and I will go, "This is f-ing boring."". Classic JRPGs are not going to appeal to everyone, especially people too accustomed to improved mechanics of the modern age.
