So I grabbed the choices and tossed them above. Three for my fam and three from here. 

Here will be the general style inspirations. 

Wife’s Choice - Daring Do

 

My pick - Rarity as Shadow Spade 

 

Kid’s Pick - Cozy Glow (this but adult I guess) 

 

Forum Pick - Pinkie and Treehugger (also replacing Staff Pick cause they are staff too)

There really isn’t a lot of options for the hippie, but that should work. There are pros and cons to each of these. Treehugger and Cozy would be the easiest and cheapest to do. Cozy would be easily the most humiliating (by a lot), but that’s the idea behind that I guess. Daring Do would probably be the most fun, but also more of a challenge to put together. Pinkie has more con centric appeal, but also tricky. Rarity would be amusing, and fits me, but costly and challenging.

So Cozy Glow wins. I can’t believe this one won, but here we are. 
 

Since we crossed the $2250 threshold there is a bit more to the cosplay.

 

I’ll be creating a Blog/Vlog over the next few months as I put this together.

Cosplay will be worn for one full day at the Con with will include any Panels we have (there will be video) and also the Cosplay Contest/Show.  
 

I’ll record shoutout requests the day of the cosplay and do a in-character AMA.

I don't get it, but that doesn't mean it isn't damn funny. Still, I DEMAND THAT JERIC PUT TOGETHER A DARING DO COSPLAY FOR HIS WIFE AS WELL!!! Mostly so she can then put together a Rainbow Dash cosplay to compliment it and make faces at you like this (in public, for the record, for ultimate lols):

 

 

 

Honestly this is the only respect in which the Cozy Glow vote is a missed opportunity. People, you need to understand that one's spouse knows better than anypony else how to achieve maximum public embarassment for their spouse! THERE IS A CLEAR, APPARENT REASON SHE WANTED DARING DO?! 

 

 

Either way, the photos that come out of all this should be to die for. Still, I can't help but also be sad that there is now know reason for Jeric to go out and acquire a chaise lounge. Well, other than just because it's classy as hell to have a chaise lounge ready at hoof at all times, but ya know, besides that.
