technical issue "Add friend" not working

I don't know if this is an issue that happened after the latest upgrade. In the Friends tab, pressing the "+" button, type a user's name, and finally press "Add friend" doesn't do anything. The result is similar to when trying to add someone you are already friends with, only the users I am trying to be friends with are new to this forum. I tried an old user name (that joined before the upgrade) just to see if that made a difference but it didn't.

Do I have too many friends?

There is a cap set for 300 friends. You have 15 pages and it’s set to display 20 per page, so I assume you reached the cap. I’ve never tested increasing the default cap limit, but I’ll play with that later tonight.

@Splashee I increased the cap to 400 so that should work for now. Let me know if you can send a new request out

Thank you, it worked!

It would end up being rude to unfriend someone just to get another friend slot, since such an action is visible to the ex-friend.
