If you had to live in another nation, which country would it be?

Assuming you are somehow able to secure residence there and you also are given instant knowledge of their language, which would it be?

For me, it would definitely be Hungary. I've always been very fond of Hungary and I find their nation to be quite fascinating.

I dislike heat, so any place that is hot is out. Also, I would rather live in a democratic country that has a normal standard of living and the culture is not too different from mine as otherwise I would stand out and possibly annoy the people living there or they would annoy me. I also like guns and steam engines.

So, it could be Poland (close by, food and gas is cheaper), the UK (especially if it was close to a heritage railway) or the US, specifically Alaska (guns and specifically Alaska because it's colder). In reality, I have only been to Poland as a tourist, so no idea if I could actually live in any of those countries and not be annoyed by something.

Switzerland. No country in the world is perfect, but Switzerland comes pretty damn close - and it's notoriously difficult to gain residency there, so if the parameters of your question allow me to instantly obtain it then I can't see any reason why I wouldn't pick it.

Russia. I love how this country can teach you to be honest with other people and yourself. Now I know it. I have always hated hypocrisy.

Would be my second choice, to be honest. I quite like Russia a lot. I was always fascinated by it's history and culture.

Canada! Southeast Canada has an ideal climate for me, and Canada has much better politics than where I currently live.  Also, it wouldn't be as much of a culture shock as many other nations. I believe English is everywhere, and I already have a kickstart on learning French if needed (I don't know that it would be, though).

Other countries I'd consider if Canada is impossible (and it pretty much is... T.T): The Scandinavian countries, Germany, France. I can't think of any other country that I'd even be okay with moving to. Maybe somewhere in the UK, but meh. Lots of problems there nowadays.

Equestria!

A place where I can live with my horses, ponies and donkeys in freedom far away from stupidity. Nearly living that dream, but it's too cold for too long here, and I wish I owned a lot more land for the animals. Now they have about 30Ha (74acre), wish it was way bigger for them.

If it was just me, without caring for animals? Maybe a small rural place in the mountains in Japan? But they would probably not like a foreigner there anyway, making it hard to blend in. Or a completely different place? Botswana, living with zebra herds passing by. In a small simple hut, but way too corrupt and difficult land to live in and way too hot at times of the season.

Or actually any place where Friendship and freedom is working.... sadly that place don't exist to my knowledge.

Japan all the way. I love everything about it, even the insane language and its three alphabets. I love the food, culture, scenery. I don’t think there’s much I dislike about it to be honest…

Japan would be great but I would NOT want to work there and considering it's maskland now I'd pass.

Yeah, there is that absurd paranoia and mask obsession. :derp:
