resolved I have a question about alternative ranks?

I have a question about the ranking system I would like like to be answered please.

Now, I am fully aware of how the basic ranking system works of going from blank flank (lowest ranking) to element of harmony (highest).

 

I get that and there is no need to explain it further on here.

 

However, what I do not understand and need further explanation on are there alternative ranks people seem to have: Alicorn, royal guard etc etc.

 

What do these rankings mean and how are they obtained?

Aside ranks, there are special temporary and staff badges.

For example, Alicorns are administrators, and Royal Guards are moderators.

There are staff ranks for each group of staff. You can find all groups here:
