Greetings, everypony and welcome to this week's edition of Staffer Of The Week! This time we are moving right into technical aspects of keeping this community intact with staffer to be celebrated being @Astralshy

Astralshy has been one of the friendliest people on MLPForums ever since he joined it. Some traits I would use to describe him? That's an easy task as he really stands out with who he is. Gentle, calm, kind, imagine Fluttershy, if you will and it's pretty much Astralshy, love for tea included  Another thing that just cannot be missed when describing him - his sense of humor. Clever, silly, always managing to make people smile. His love of orbs is legendary at this point. Whenever he makes a typo it becomes a new word others happily use in good, wholesome fun. He has this rare skill of turning everything he touches into... "goid" 

Talk to him and you'll find in him a great and loyal friend, who will be there both through the good and the bad. I already share plenty history with him and even got a pleasure of meeting him in person. People like him are gems that can never be praised enough.

However his role as a staffer is no less important. Astral is a tech pony, playing vital role in stability of forums as a website. Alongside Rikifive he ensures that everything runs smoothly, provides crucial assistance to other staffers, whenever more technical tasks need to be done. His help during some technical difficulties we had to face in the past is something that allowed us to keep going no matter what. Needless to say - the forums wouldn't be what it is today without his help. If his contributions as a person were not enough here we have some hard, sincere work put into our forum's stability.

Staffer of the week just wouldn't be the same without the legend and fortunately I got just that for you all to enjoy!

We already estabilished that Astralshy is a tea connoisseur like no other. Here's a little secret related to that - Fluttershy herself taught him secrets of perfect tea. Every week they have tea meetings that focus around gentle music and that delicious beverage. Discord joins them sometimes as well  I am not supposed to say this, but under condition of you keeping it to yourself, dear reader, other ponies are sometimes invited too if they're kind enough to others 

Oh, oh! I also have another one that I just have to share here! 

Do you know that his monocle is more than just a fashion accessory? In distant past it was gifted to him by an alchemist friend to help him on his journey in discovering perfect teas. It can be used to inspect plants if they are suitable for brewing tea, helping him avoid the ones that are potentially poisonous. Always trust tea served by Astralshy!

Oh my freakin gosh, Astral Shy.. where do I even begin. AHHHHHHHHH

This person has a heart of gold and I would fiercely protect it against anyone who tried to do him harm due to his kind and sensitive nature. However, there's a catch to this... he doesn't even need any protection... because he's super strong and handles his conflicts alone. Similar to @Sir Hugsalot's gentle but sturdy nature... and this is why I'm able to recognise it and I wish to always be there for the helpful spirit that he always offers. His eyes are as bluish green irl as Fluttershy's and that was alarming to see in person. LOL must be from spending so much time together in spirit!

Gentle soul, gentle nature. Yet strong enough to face any challenges he is hit with. I can think of no perfect person to have in staff for users to turn to if they need a gentle soul to talk to or bond with. 

I'm raising a cup of Earl Grey tea in your name, @Astralshy (and I mean that literally, lol I just made some because it is your favourite)

Hmmm.. I knew it, "tea" has been mentioned in the OP. And not even once, but 7 times... According to the data I've gathered earlier, this should cause some replies to mention tea as well...

Just as I expected, the tea has indeed made its appearance in replies, 4 times in fact. I believe the amount of mentions about tea in replies should eventually exceed the amount in the OP. 

This topic even made someone make and drink Earl Grey in particular, how peculiar. Although, I expected no less from the power of tea. 

Thinking about it, I just drank 2 cups of tea not long ago, could it be related in some way? 

Further research has to be conducted. 

Huh?  Why is everyone looking at me? Surely the tea couldn't be powerful enough to allow them to read my mind, could it? Even if, ain't no one going to read that wall of text anyway. I should probably say something though... But what, a generic reply would be rather lame... Come on, it's the fellow penk tea-consuming pone after all.. Think Riki, think! Aw balls my cup is empty, but it's almost 6am, so I should be going to sleep now... Uh I mean~
