The minimalism of ArtAttack's "Still Shy"

I just ran across the original (non-VIP) version of "Still Shy" by ArtAttack again and I have to say it's my favorite version of the track. I can tell he was using a very simple synthesizer, but for some reason, I like how it sounds compared to the VIP version of the track. The drop admittedly isn't as good, but the build-up and the higher energy parts just hit differently compared to the VIP version for me.

I'm assuming the main synth is the 3xOSC, but I'm not entirely sure.
