general Favorite bugs?

Hey everypony! I've kinda had a newfound interest in some kinds of bugs, so I was wondering, what are your favorite bugs? If you can, attach an image so I know what the bug looks like

Here's some of mine

This beetle I named Raymond:

This (Wolf?) SPOODER I named Carmine

And this lacewing I named Lonnie

I wanna make stories about them

I love bugs! My favorites are deep sea isopods by FAR, I love them so, so much... I like all isopods though, and soon I hope to get a terrarium full of isopods! I haven't picked a specific kind yet though... You can keep deep sea isopods as pets? But... they need 300+ gallons of ice cold salt water, and they may not eat once you get them set up, so those are off the table, but the little ones come in lots and lots of fun colors and shapes and are almost as cute!

I know spiders aren’t technically bugs, but… I’ve always been really fond of jumping spiders. The zebra ones in particular are really common around here.

Cross orb weavers are super common too and pretty cool. There’s an absolutely huge one that has a web right by an outside light on my porch. The design and “engineering” that goes into their webs is also really fascinating.

If we have to stick strictly to insects or “true bugs” then I really like the fuzzy bumblebees.

I think some buggos are pretty neat, I like Pillbugs in particular.

I like them too! They scare easily though

I always loved mantises! If they were bigger, they could take us in a fight, closest we have to that is the Goosebumps Shocker on Shock Street robot mantis.

Spiders can be cool! They still terrify me sometimes though :ButtercupLaugh:

I like bumblebees, they're cute and fuzzy when they're not STINGING me :Angry-zip:

I like butterflies lot, so colorful. Many moths are the same way, being quite pretty. That's also why I like the orchid mantis. It's pretty too. There are a lot of really cool beetles out there too, like the rhinoceros beetle and Hercules beetle.

Come and check out my shop! Hope you'll stop on by!

I love orb weavers! I have a cross orb weaver outside my house too, right in the carport! I love going to look at him... I also have a TON of Joro spiders, like, at least 20, all over my house, and those are very pretty too, and their webs are golden!

My favorite insect too. :squee: They're so beautiful and alien. And somebody once pointed out they're the only insect you can see turn and look at you.

Oh my gosh this thread makes me nervous. I do not like bugs; most of them either annoy me or scare the daylights out of me.

I'll stick with ladybugs, butterflies, fuzzy caterpillars and of course...

I guess I like ladybugs since they don't really do anything besides terrify Twilight Sparkle.
